Thanks JP
Yes, big project, will take some time but i'm planning to go at it quite hard if and when possible. Full time job gets in the way like most of us have to deal with and other big commitments but thats life! I've only just scratched the surface but the fun has certainly begun!

A bit of metal work taking place now. Rebuilding section of the rear end up piece by piece like a dirty great big jigsaw puzzle. Rear Inner arch forming with dodgy lip that will need welding and tidying up. Tank now out. Was completely blocked solid. No fuel coming through at all. The tank is completely full of silt so need a plan here. Possibly sort out a replacement alloy jobbie. Thought the tank was my non starter issue so set up a mini fuel tank up front to see if anything else was stopping fuel being drawn up and it looks like it was the mechanical fuel pump playing up. New pump bought and fuel coming through. Still won't start so back to basics.

Fair play for digging into this. Are there any panels available for Fulvia's? When I first passed my test back in 1990 there was always one parked up in a local town. Never saw it move.
On another note is the Crack Fox off The Mighty Boosh? It's the only thing that scared me as an adult for some reason

good stuff there. I think I should have cut more out of those rear panels above the lights as you have done. Those boxes for the subframe mounts look as bad as mine were. Thats not too easy to get right but Its all a positive move forward and you are doing a great job keep it up.

Jonesy...it needs just digging into unfortunately, I can't afford to pussy foot with it really. I like it more and more everytime I'm able to work on it so quick fixes turn into...mmmm I should really do that properly fixes. Yes crackfox is a mightyboosh reference...what a character. :-) You can get panels for the fulvia...wings etc so will be sorting some of the bigger stuff out later.
Lukestew, from what I've seen you're doing a sterling job and there are numerous ways to approach a job, not just one correct way. Keep up the good work yourself.
Thanks bastardchild, my second car with fabrication so it's been a slow process but getting to grips with working bits out. I sometimes think my job as graphic designer helps with that side of problem solving.
Cheers Guys

Great to see another fulvia being saved. If you are buying panels bill Lewis is you're only man, trust me the others available pale in comparison in my experience. Love that blue.

Full wings as far as I am aware, are not available. Bill Lewis is indeed the man: 01630 661449 He's a very good bloke, and very busy, but be gentle in your manner- he's getting on a bit, and MUST be preserved!!

Corners starting to come along. It's a very tricky area but have got the curves sorted after many attempts. Sits correctly so started to stitch in. This is such an important area to get the look correct. Cut outer sills away to reveal a complete horror at the back. Lots to do.
