	There's a waiting list for the temporary bays, so could be a couple of months before its in NERC. At the moment its still just a case of cleaning off the tar like substance, and finding yet more holes in the bodywork. I had thought about stripping the body and dustless blasting it all, but the way its looking, I'd be left with nothing to restore

	I understand that people want to see this car getting sorted quickly, but I have to point out that as a self employed plumber, I work most hours. While the work is there, you have to work the hours, as you sometimes find work dries up for a week or two, but the bills don't. Granted this hasn't happened for a while, but you can't rest, just in case this lull does occur. At the moment I'm just collecting the parts I need, and the parts I probably don't (see below ) Also, instead of a holiday this year I'll be using that time to sort out the car at the Restoration Club, and hopefully get a fair bit done on it. Anyway, lets use this update to talk about the 400 mile round trip me and my Dad did yesterday, and how the 124 will have a new heart in the future

	The car's now back at my garage where I plan to start stripping it out, so it's ready for going to the Restoration Club.

	Well "something" went into the bay at the Restoration Club Plan is to get this sorted for Winter, and put the Panda back into storage, as the panda needs far too much to survive another Winter. If there's any time left of my 8 weeks in the club, I will get the 124 over there and stripped down ready for welding.

	A 124 very similar to this one came up in my FB feed this week, the guy selling it seemed to be a brexit-voting vegan fundamentalist? Anyway it was about £2200, looked great but the engine was seized.

	Well the Fiat 124 is now in the hands of someone else. I really wanted to sort this, but the good thing is that the new owner has an uncle who used to restore cars. So it looks like it's going to be in better hands than mine!
