I got a surprise - this turned up Had a great chat with the owner Justin - His number one biggest problem is slugs and snails cleaning it for him Obviously not reached the roof yet Mossy It's a working truck Windows work too but you have to be careful to move them slowly so you don't scrap off the green The other issue is he can't use it in the rain cos it's like driving thro a car wash In other news Is now back in use as the daily driver whilst the SLK gets painted - any pass is a result in my book One Advisory - be careful with it, try not to get it wet - they rust a lot

I had a b2200, great little truck, one of the hardest non power steering vehicles I've ever driven, I'd be slumped over the wheel with exhaustion turning at low speeds. That looks nice low down like that. Is it actually on the road? If it is he needs those side windows cleaned, surely he can't see properly out of them.

On the road taxed, tested and insured When the side windows are down no offence is committed

Keeping your windows filthy just for "the look" is just dumb.

Keeping your windows filthy just for "the look" is just dumb. Same with the headlights.

I don't understand. Is excessively dirty cars a 'thing' now?
Cis I saw a white berlingo van the other day that looked like it had been in a pond for 10 years and figured he was just a dirty lazy hoarder type.

About 10 years ago I bought a £150.00 Granada that looked just like that, it belonged to an elderly disabled guy who hardly ever used it. After a day of hard work inside & out it looked brand new.

I kind of like the whole don't give a flip-ness of that. Probably the windows have gone a bit far and the owner must get a lot to hassle from people who just don't get it.
I wonder what happened to all the mini trucks (mostly Mazdas) that were built in the 90s?

A lot of negative in here :0 Bit disappointing to be honest..... Not really RR ethos I liked it - I wouldn't own it or even want to drive it but appreciate it for being different.. He has another one which has been body dropped over the chassis and bagged - the sills scrape and the front cross member hits cats eyes..... That one is cleaned

Reminds me of Pollitt's old Merc (I think it was).

The negative is down to safety I'm guessing, if he's pulling out of a junction it would be difficult to spot a bike with the scabby windows, but I guess maybe he only drives it with the windows slightly down? As per the photos.

Keeping your windows filthy just for "the look" is just dumb. So is driving a car that rips off exhaust hangers in motorway services because it is so low just for "the look"

It's a variation on the natural patina / sleeper theme.
Although the plan with mine was to go dirty all over but clean / modern windows, mirrors, lights, and wheels so this is the extreme end of the scale.
