When I was at Le Mans Classic I started collecting photos of the details that made me think "That is the cafe/gentlemen racer style I was talking about", this isn't a check list of "tick this off and boom there you go", I think the style needs that personal touch, it isn't a checklist of bits. However you can see in these pictures some great pointers and details that can help make a nice atmosphere on the right car.

So many great things on this, which I believe is a genuine Citroen rally SM. The yellow lamps. The grill with suitable writing. The bonnet catches. Towing eye.

Another Citroen, these leather bonnet straps are amazing.

Another take on yellow lamps, on this Matra Bagheera, great base car too.

More leather straps, racing stripe detail too. Interesting wiper set up too.

No need to have a load of accessories. More yellow lights, this time with added mini spots, would need a suitable brand, Marchal most likely.

Light grills, I saw a few light meshes that looked great, but these looked a cut above, probably some super rare accessory

Ignore the bonk number plate, those twin up turned pipes, so good.

All of this. All. Of. This.

The lens tape and those steels.

This is a literal actual historical race car being used as a normal car. So pretty much everything, but the mirrors, ride height, wheels, lights, stickers, faded paint. Everything is spot on, because this is real.
I'll add to this thread as I find more details to throw in as a partner to the other thread.
