Mercedes-Benz 200 'Heckflosse' saloon. Somerset. £2K 1967. W110 barn find, parked up since 1983. Morris PV van. Somerset. £2,750.00 1951. Barn find, parked up 50 years. Jaguar XJ6 s1. Northamptonshire. £3,750.00 1971. Project that has been parked up for 30 years. Looks very solid and should make for a straightforward restoration. In good order would be worth £10K+. Vauxhall Royale convertible. Gwynedd. £2½K 1981. Chopped coupé. 3 litre straight-six auto. Drives, MOT'd. Talbot Samba LS. Lancs. £4K 1983. 16,762 miles from new. When did you last see one? There are only a handful left and this must surely be the best out there? Austin 1300 Countryman. Dorset. £800.00 1973. Garage find. Pretty ripe but getting rare so worth saving.

Would love that Morris PV van - it would make a great period hidden camper conversion (without hacking the sides out for windows) - my stable is very full currently so I shall leave it for someone else to have fun with - and has already stated the Jag is pretty sound project / investment too

Love that Samba, and for £4k would be a lot more fun to own than the equivalent indenticar Kia or whatever you'd get at that money. Only thing is it looks so fresh I'd feel too guilty to actually use it! The 1300 countryman also looks worth saving, I didn't even know they existed.

If at first you don't succeed........ ....Don't try skydiving!

It would appear that these have a higher value in Japan? Let's hope the bumper perks up soon!

Indeed. Quite surprising they haven't stuck a Nissan/Toyota engine in it - looks like the aircon is out of one...

Jaguar XJR. Hamps. £2,250.00 1995. Nov MOT. MOT history worth a check as it is somewhat suggestive of lax maintenance and likely underbody corrosion issues. This is the much more desirable and reliable 6 cylinder supercharged model. AC 2 litre saloon. Norfolk. £3½K 1953. Bramble find for brave restoration.

Still there, you might be lucky with a cheeky offer? If it's what it appears to be it could be made into something very interesting.I'm a huge fan of the estate versions of this model. (W111 shown).
