Anybody want to buy one of my kidneys? Looks like it’s the only way I’m going to be able to afford a Tagora SX now at over 12 grand.. 😳 www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1083266 Always liked these and all there squareness and this looks astounding to be fair, shame about the 505 wheels though. I'll admit that it doesn't do an awful lot for me, especially at that price, but there is the rarity factor. I really have no recollection at all of this model from my younger days.

Always had a thing for the Tagora, like a big Solara and a total sales disaster at the time, the spec on the V6 PRV engine on the SX though was mega, two triple barrel Weber’s and a manual gearbox. Tagoras were only made for around 18 months and only around a 1000 SXs were produced. These are the wheels it should be wearing.

Calling our Jowett expert @grumpynorthener just in case it's a one the club don't know about Fully aware of it and have been ignoring it due to the stupid over inflated price that is being asked for by the vendor - Although very simple in build quality and quite agricultural these things are based upon a ash frame - and in no way will it be in a condition that either does not warrant very extensive works or complete replacement - cue £15k + to restore and it's worth £8k when finished - sadly Bradfords in this condition are worth more in parts than they are has a complete vehicle and to this end £750 is what is what it's real market value is

Austin Cambridge A55 Mk II Deluxe. Sussex £250.00 1961. Project. Laid up in garage for 37 years. Very sensible project money is this - I will be surprised if it's not gone already and had it been a A60 I would have been all over it

Ongoing sterling work on this thread, MkX. www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1057801For the dreamers, can I add a Porsche 928 resto project for £1350 (2 cars). Heartbreak/ suicide potential but can't believe that buys you a second hand exhaust normally! I'm wondering if the seats would go in a 924 :-)

... and an MG 1100 for £950 (slightly more realistic proposition?) www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1109351Touch of welding, revised exhaust arrangement and motoring heaven awaits. It's a great colour . . .
