Obviously paid for 1 classified car ad, sold the car quickly & replenished with details of a different car while the ad is still live, (page address still says XR3i). Bentley S Type / S1 Shropshire. £12½KAnother 'barn find' car. The Bentley S was the badge engineered counterpart of the Rolls Royce Silver Cloud. This 1959 model needs comprehensive restoration although it doesn't appear to be a basket case. The vendor claims low mileage and that the car has never had or needed an MOT due to the period of time that it has been laid up. There are also claims of an interesting history. OK, it's a lot of money but these sell for good money when in good order. A sound car in driving condition - £40K. There is a nicely restored example currently on ebay at £125K.
