Hawk auction already finished at £1,220.00, Even by the standards of the time they were particularly prone to corrosion and survival rates are poor, I can't help thinking someone's had a bargain as they're usually well rotten for that sort of money!
Seems to be quite an understated advert for a rare car with little more than delivery mileage on it. Imps don't do much for me but I love the shape of the californian.

I always have very mixed feelings about 'cocooned' cars, i.e. concours trailer queens, cars that will never get to do what they were created to do.
If i had the money to buy that id make sure it gets used. Being as old as it is it will probably need plenty of work to make it reliable and safe, but I couldnt buy it with the intention of locking it away. Id struggle to mod it though.
