This will be a compilation thread about all the non-car vehicle projects i enthusiastically start and later neglect.
It'll be messy and without logic, but hopefully entertaining. Please voice your opinion if you have any questions, remarks, praise or critique.
Let's start by going through what is happening at the moment.
POLARIS XLT580
Last winter i finally got myself my first own snowmobile. I traded two broken bmw v8's, a grand piano and some rims for it.
It's even improved with uniballs, racing variator, steering riser and stuff!
I broke it myself!
(i'll add more pictures and story when i get som more pictures of my old phone..)
Obviously it made way too little noise, especially for a tripple, so i adressed that.
I broke it a few times
It had some traction issues on ice, which i fixed..
The bolts somehow got cut the wrong way..
And now in storage with a wedge brother.
CHINESE MINI DIRT BIKE 110cc and 125cc
I have two stepchildren who lives with us every other week. They obviously need practice bodging together vehicles.
These break down constantly, and needs constant improvements..
CHINESE MINI QUAD 125cc
Same story here, identical engine as the bikes, but with reverse gear and a starter.
BASHAN 300cc QUAD
As the kids have fun offroad toys, i obviously need one for myself as well
So i traded the speedboat project i never got around finishing..
For a chinese cross quad, with a broken output shaft...
*
Got 3 sets of rear wheels with it, stock, slashers and ice spikes.
I'll be going for some kind of mad max/cafe racer look?
It's waiting for a new shaft from germany.
DNEPR/k750
I don't have a motorcycle license, and have tried keeping away from them for my own safety.
But when this one came up semi-local for almost free i just couldn't say no..
It has a seized engine, and is ugly as sin.
Quite a few missing and broken parts as well.
I don't mind though.
It's not exactly as i'll keep it stock
I went on a roadtrip to helsinki to pick up a K-750 flathead engine, and a harley fat-bob gas tank.
Sadly the flywheel of the dnepr top-valve engine didn't fit the flathead, altough the gearbox did.
Got a rubber lepper sadle for it aswell, but i don't like the look..
There's also a small chance for knobbly tires, but i don't think i'll go that route.
Trying my hardest to look like a tool.
I think that's it for this episode, next time we'll look at some boats and bicycles!
