Hey folks,
This weekend I plan to get my car back on four wheels for the first time in a while, and discover where all the fluid from my cooling system has gone... actually I know where it has gone, all over my garage floor, I need to find why.
I also plan to do a bit of admin around various events, Summer Holiday and Rassembler au Château being the main ones that need some love and work.
What are you up to? Anyone going to Volksworld?

I shall be putting the cam cover back on my E34 with new gasket, will also be messing around with tint film and the spare set of headlights I've bought. As well as fitting a new head unit as well. Also need to buy some lowering springs for it.. Then again, if the sun is out, I'll probably spend some time looking for good B roads in the RX7 with the roof down EDIT: Already done the cam cover as of tonight

Seeing as I'm only two minutes away from Volksworld I think I will pop along...
I will probably just do the skinflint thing of walking the car parks rather than going in though which I know is a tad naughty!

Mid-week fire up went OK ( for us if not the neighbours), more methanol arrived in the post today, weather forecast is good. So Sunday is Slingshot day at Shakey.

Sold the M5 on Monday so spending some time looking for a suitable replacement.
Have to go and look at 2 cars my wife is interested in buying.
Few small service jobs on the A2.
Take a look at the Primera my wife has been driving for the past year and see what it needs to make the trip back to Ireland in a month's time.

Working. Nights and trying to finish my engine-steady bracket, with the assistance of The Boy. Is eight too young to let him use the angle grinder?

Driving 300 miles North to go and view at a car that would mean me selling my Triumph and Olympic, could be a turning point. Everyone has to own a V8 once in their life.....

If it's nice I might open the bonnet on my Rickman.

If I can get some time in between working I'll carry on with the MX5. Last Friday I did a 1.8 brake upgrade and started to sort out the broken hydraulic handbrake. It's never worked as the cylinder is faulty (cheapo Chinese job). I've got a replacement cylinder but I ran out of time before I could fit it properly. Then I need to bleed the brakes and I'll hopefully have fully working brakes.

Depending on the weather I have a 2ft long piece of chassis to replace on the transit van, I folded the top hat section up this afternoon, then an outrigger and various other patches and plates.

More bathrooming and general DIY but hopefully I'll get some time on the Manta. Supposed to be picking up a room full of Scalextric at some stage too. Don't tell the missus.

Figuring out what's wrong with the front suspension on the Rover after having to abort my weekend away today. It'll be something and nothing. Might do a bit more work on the Renault engine, might see if I can get the Princess to actually run. I might also do naff all.

Well either rebuilding and fitting the front suspension on the Polo. Or decorating my little bro's new place.
Weather is the decider.
