With how straight forward the window was I think I'll end up getting another 2 for the other sections on the nearside, getting the same size ones so I can re-use the same template and get a uniform row of windows. ...............So Now the question arises. If you add more,,do they go exactly horizontal or do you add step wise progression, from high to low so you can see where you are reversing into, as well as create some visual interest? And do you do it before you cut it shorter? (So the wrong question) 😉 I've seen the bigger window on the end done on vans before and I don't like it personally, I've very much an equal sizes all in a row kind of person. I'm not making it shorter, either in height or length, any more I realsed it was too much work when I'd looked into it's construction.

Would be cool if Ifor Williams or someone could do it professionally for you.
But in the mean time, I continue to love it a whole lot.

What about an opening window on top? Could be useful if you sleep in it at shows in the summer. There's a pair of strengthening angle sections that run along the roof centre so a roof window isn't an option I'm afraid.

That canopy has made such a difference.
Loving it, and still prefer the non window side, main;y because it makes it look so solid.
Not sure what else to say, except these short days are not ideal.

The owner of that actual van has a facebook page and is / was trying to restore it. Not sure how it's progressed - he was trying to crowdfund the restoration without much success. I think I mentioned on here at some point too that the owner of the original sooty honda acty is also being or planned to be restored so hoping to see both of those looking spot on in the metal some day.

I have “gained” two hours travel time to some accounts and 3-4 for Kings College Hospital withpit the commute but of course one then pushes it into training and other work related stuff.
My new car has done 400 miles so far.
Miss normal times.

I thought this looked amazing before but that cover has really set it off! I love how clean and smooth the truck is but how "agricultural" the cover looks, I think polishing it was a great idea!

Those sunset pictures look great, and have me wondering if there's a translucent brown anodized-look paint you could use?

Thanks Polishing was surprisingly quick really, only a couple of hours to polish up after it's initial clean so should be easy enough to keep on top of.

I think you need to make that canopy a mirror finish like an over-polished Airstream caravan.
It's looking good.
