	Having sold my E12 M535i last summer I decided I needed another Beemer in my life. So last November I bought this off Ebay. It's a 1976 1502. The bottom 4" needs attention from the welder, however I figured I could turn it into something like this in no time. I moved some stuff around in the back of our workshop & clear enough space to start work. Borrowed a mates trailer & moved to down to work.

	Looks worse than it is. Panels are readily available from the main dealers still believe it or not. Plus there's loads of specialists ?

	So......I made a start on the welding only got this far when the welder went buckwank. For some reason the feed couldn't be turned low enough. FFS!! Time for a new welder. i.imgur.com/lppPxwt.jpg[/img Anyway while waiting for the new welder to arrive I sent the rear suspension off to be blasted & powder coated & ordered some new bearings & bushes

	Also drill the boot lid for the rear spoiler. Then sent that for media blasting & priming

	New welder arrived So I cracked on. The plan is start on the drivers A post & work my round the back the passenger side. Then I'll tackle the front, easy when you type!
