Been a bit slow on these as it is that time of year! This weekend I hope to regain some car mojo and get things packaged up and sent off to people that can help me turn my dream into a reality! I also need to REALLY tidy the garage, and sort through my magazines, I'll try and do the garage first as the magazine sorting will result in magazine reading What are you up to? Anyone going to London Classic Car Show?

Welding more metal into the van, potentially swapping over parts on a modern, and replacing an exhaust on a mates modern.
Followed be swearing and welding and grinding and swearing and welding and grinding.

Pickup up the Cutlass chassis from the sandblasters, finding out what goodies came with my (almost) rust-free Jetta shell, trying to remove dents from the wing of the Pugtner and stripping out the interior in the Panda ready to route air-ride stuff. Probably also helping HARDCORE finish the coilover brackets on the rear of the Rekord so he can MOT it.

Dubfreeze at Bingley Hall Stafford. Not personally into the dub scene particularly, but my mate has a nice 1970 camper, so going along with him. Always happy to look at a few motors even if they are not top of my tree, so to speak.

While I wait for the stars to align on logistics so I can sort the clutch and other mechanicals, I will mostly be removing these mouldy delights: From here:

Fit some new parts to the new daily E39 BMW, deliver the Zetec xr2i to its new owner and hopefully start stripping the Mk3 Escort ready for its rebirth in a new guise.....

I'm hoping to get this back from the auto electrician. DSC_7955 by srblythe, on Flickr It's been there for a few weeks after the alternator melted and the refurbished one wasn't working correctly, eventually been narrowed down to a wiring fault. I'm hoping to do some welding on the exhaust today.

Changing the drive shafts and getting my MOT done on my daily.
If a guy on gumtree gets back to me, maybe picking up a cheap mazda 323 2.0 16v for my other half (it's obviously just a massive coincidence that the engine from it would go straight in my 626 when it's on the road).
Looking at adverts for cool cars, hoping one of them says "would swap for a modern diesel" haha

I am going to be getting myself, the garage, house and our entire neighbourhood covered in paint and filler dust. Then I will no doubt, be wondering why I ever thought the body was in great condition, just needing final prep for paint. Then, I'll go for a drive in the Triumph to remind me why we bother.....
