Can we see some side to side comparison welds on a bit of scrap to see the difference? Still working on my man maths & little 'side jobs' that are building up my 'new welder fund' before ringing R Tech. Organise to have a play with one....You will be building up your welder fund a lot quicker once you have π€£ I bought a Kempii. Ok , a fair amount more than the Rtech, but given I have a Rtech TIG, I can well imagine itβs a good bit of kit.

Give me chance to have a play at the weekend (probably be Sunday the way my week is looking) and I'll see what I can do. Will see if I can give you some on-car comparisons too. Best bet is to do what Johnny says and have a play for yourself, if you're ever in this part of the world then more than welcome to have a try

Chris you are as usual on the money... something for her ladyship to speed things along, I'm just the gopher who plays 'go fetch'... although in truth it was my idea... On home straight now. 417 miles down, 189 to go ππ΄π΄ ETA. no blame apportioned either... yet π€£

Hmmmm' Possibly A35 solid bodyshell flavour then 10 points each π Blackpool tower it was indeed. I must have a penchant for iron work at the moment as last week I was at Ally Pally but that's another story. Also yes, a slightly more solid shell, albeit still needs a bit more work than I'd hoped but came with a shedload of spares that was unexpected so can't complain. Anyway after 14 hours and a smidge over 603 miles I think its beer time, feel like I've earned one tonight. Full story tomorrow.

Ah, Just noticed the colour of your bonnet, want to swap your nice grey bonnet for a very nice green one?? Pretty please, and I must say that looks like a remarkably good shell....
