Oh God, good luck with any joy there...
Had the misfortune to try and buy something as small as a carburettor from huntyfm and it was a absolute waste of everyone's time.

Well he's sent me a £100 deposit so I've been holding it for him since around Christmas but he's vanished and hasn't arranged collection!
Been more than patient, got someone else wanting to come view it too.
What's the law on selling something after someone's left a deposit but never turned up?!

If he paid with paypal send it back , or tell him your keeping it , that is what a deposit is really , sounds mean but thats it . The whole point of it is to prevent dicking around.....

£100 storage fee for messing me around for a month! Haha
Wouldn't be so bad if it wasnt so cold and I didn't need the rest of the cash for a boiler! Probably cost me £100 in electric using electric heaters haha

A bit OTT, but is that a Moggy one piece front I can see in the garage in the back of one of the pics?
Would have loved your van as a project but sunk too much money into the Minor!

I don't think it's selling because the advert is vague. If I didn't have a lot on id be interested, but I can only make out its an estate (with panels) and a k-series engine. Would be ideal to know about rust etc and what it really needs to get on the road. I think that's what's putting people off. I think it'd make a great project!

Rust wise is as I've said it needs sills and scuttle corners which are provided, the drivers floor is tacked but needs finishing. It needs flip front fitting, brakes plumbing in, wiring loom run, steering collumm mounted, fuel lines, clutch cable connecting, front coilovers sourced and fitted, and it will pretty much be ready for an mot. Could probably get it on the road crudely in a few weekends but I haven't got the time with a new house and my minor to finish. I'd say it's probably about 90-95% complete just needs coilovers bought and odds and sods like fuel lines, paint etc bought for it, if you can do the work your self it wouldn't cost a fortune to get on the road.
