1976 Mini Clubman Estate which has been converted to a van. Was a auto but has a manual pedal box and now has a Rover K series front subframe fitted, (currently a 1.1 but same subframe to take a 1.8vvc which was my plan) engine has only done 22k from new with full service history to prove it though. Has lots of fibreglass panels, rear doors, rear windows, flip front, bonnet. It has modified Vauxhall Tigra front seats which are very comfy. De handled doors as i was going to run door poppers but security bolts can be fitted and removed to open from outside. Has hi-los on the back. Currently isnt running as i havent run the loom yet but it does come with the full metro wiring loom. I was also going to fit the whole metro steering rack which is included, as is the fuel tank and everything needed from the donor car. Rust wise the sills and scuttles need doing but the panels are included. Its currently painted in red oxide primer but i really liked the colour haha. Its sitting on the bumpstops on the front as the hydragas has been removed ready for fitting coilovers which i havent got round to buying. All in all it obviously needs abit of work to finish and ive probably missed lots but will answer any questions honestly! Can come with a boot full of spares if needed, its currently on steel wheels at the moment. Few pics and details in this post (the nissan engine is sold and in another mini now and its on steels). retrorides.proboards.com/thread/126566/1976-mini-clubvan-1-16vIf the rover k series isnt to your liking then its been done in a way where a normal mini subframe can still be fitted to return it to a series. Feel free to ask any questions! Need to sell either this or my 1977 Toyota Corona, so have a look at my other post retrorides.proboards.com/thread/184217/1977-toyota-corona-speed-fareham

I wouldn't have really said so. Classic mini prices are so up and down at the minute.
I don't know if you've covered it in your ad, but it might be worth stating that...
From the looks of things that's a metro front subframe fitted with adapter plates. A tried and tested method and very successful, spare parts are easy to come by and this can retain springs or coilovers.
Another bonus with using the metro front frame is you don't have to use custom driveshafts (which you will need if running an all speed frame). You can run the larger metro brakes and you get a wider track.
Any MG engine with a plastic intake plenum will fit no trouble, anything with the metal intake plenum requires a little bit of persuasion on either the bulkhead or the plenum.
It looks like the hard part on this has been done with the smaller parts needing sorting.
I would honestly love it, but i don't have enough in my "Random Vehicle" account to offer anywhere near.

Thanks for the comment!
Yep its a metro front subframe with adapter plates, so the whole assembly is fitted so its got the k series drive shafts, brakes, etc so no custom driveshafts needed. It needs coilovers as its just sitting on the bumpstops at the moment but 90% of the hard work is done!
Not pictured is the brand new fibreglass front end, probably a mini full of spares, spare rear subframe etc etc.

It needs coilovers as its just sitting on the bumpstops. You don't have to run coilovers. You can run donuts and cones, or springs and cones which ever is preferred. My last one did anyway. Only reason I say this is incase anyone is interested and looking for a cheaper alternative to coilovers. Looks a cool car!

how is the side windows done any inside pics and i roof guttering in line? They're fibreglass panels which are bonded on and riveted inside and then fibreglsss and filleted smooth to the body. There's a few pics in the link up there ^^^ the inside is mostly bare at the moment, door cards and carpets are not currently fitted but the seats are, head liner is good condition and black. What do you mean by roof guttering inline? It's the standard roof, with standard rain gutters above the front doors if that's what you mean?

To clear any confusion and to ensure I don't waste anyone elses time coming to view it. THIS WAS AN ESTATE. I added the van panels, just to clarify, it was not originally built as a van.
I thought I made that clear but hey ho!

I thought I made that clear but hey ho! It's not like you mentioned it in the very first line of the add... Gotta love people who waste yours and their own time by not bothering to read the add, happens fair too often these days unfortunately.

Love being messed around on eBay, but hey ho I'm kinda glad it's not gone.
But will take £1000 but it's not worth me selling for any less.
