THIS WAS AN ESTATE. I added the van panels, just to clarify, it was not originally built as a van. I thought I made that clear but hey ho! 'Scuse my ignorance but why is that a big deal? Just for originality? I know a bit about Minis and I know that vans are a bit rarer than estates. |

Yes he just wanted to restore it to original, he was going to put an a series back in and welded a metal front on etc so wanted an original van apparently!

The time of year probably isn't helping at all. I've got to sell two projects soon and really not holding out much hope of getting what I would like for them this close to Xmas.
If you don't have to sell just yet it might be worth holding out till Feb sort of time. People tend to have gotten over Xmas and have a little more spare cash available by then

Yet another time waster not realising it wasn't originally a van.... Do people actually bother to read adverts anymore? Not being funny, as I fancy it myself, but you list it on here as well as eBay as a Van, all be it a ClubVan. I'd just list it as a modified estate. My experience suggests people only read the titles rather than descriptions lol |

Tbf tho it does clearly state what is is in the first line of the first post, if people can't be bothered to read that far into the add then I fear there's no hope for humanity lol
Even the fact it's advertised as a "clubvan" should at be a red flag to anyone thinking that it's a van

Had 3 people offer me under a grand if I put an mot on it too? Some people are just idiots.

But I deal with people on a weekly basis who think I'm lying when I say my mini was built in 1994! I once sold a 1991 Defender on eBay which was specifically listed as being painted in a post 2010 metallic silver. Winner bidder arrived and tried to barter me down because the car wasn't in its original paint. People only seem to read titles. I'm not saying you should change your advert to appease idiots, just to make your life easier! Lol |

Come into some money now so not desperate to sell anymore, but 1000 would take it! Would be a few years before I get round to doing anything with it, but it's not worth me selling any cheaper!

Thanks for the messages but pleased don't try and haggle, price is firm. It's going on the drive under a car cover whilst I paint the garage floor and have no problem chucking it back in and storing it for another year if I need too lol. If it doesn't sell for a grand I'll work on it once mt minor is finished. My corona has sold so less projects on the go now!
