After last weekend being filed as a "non-car" weekend, and then ending up having a grand time at Forge Action Day courtesy of meeting up with bryn and bigperm (and meeting WoodyMercW114 for the first time, and bumping into a bunch of other people including Si Mcnally I believe (rubbish with names) and the ever lovely Huxley) I've decided this weekend I will rule nothing out. My plan at the moment is to clean out the Datsun as I still have stuff in it from The Gathering weekend, maybe even give it a bit of a wash, and see if I can work out why the garage smelt so bad of petrol at one point this week (even though the car seems fine :/ )... also gotta check fluid levels and things as it is off to Horsham Developments to get its various engine issues sorted before I actually start working properly on the car (the list is long of things I want to do...!). I'll probably try and clean out the garage a bit more, so expect a picture of a garage with slightly less clutter in for the Tuesday progress thread. Maybe even a picture of my cleaned out car too ha! That having been said,... Rally Day is at Combe on Saturday and it is only an hour away...................................

Barge hunting! Thinking something German as @mercdan68 V8 Jaaaag experience has frightened me off them forever Been checking out CLK's, W210's, W124's and even a few E38's. I was tempted to buy that LS400 on Ebay at the minute with the 18" Team Dynamic alloys on (The gold one) but the seller won't respond to my Email asking if the 2x cambelt changes have been done so I'll leave it. Onwards I go in search.

Total boast, but I'm having dinner with Tony Mason and Ari Vatanen Friday evening and co-hosting Rallyday on Saturday. Love a bit of rallying me!

Replacing the one prop UJ that didn't get done before, due to educational reasons. Hopefully this will kill the slight vibration on acceleration and overrun that's suddenly reappeared.
What else? replace the drivers door latch. It's become a bit sticky and will, if it's in the mood, lock you out forever one day.
Good job I've got this stuff in stock.
'part from that, chill with some cold ones in the sun I think.

Hoping to get the new (to me) engine running in the 940 after the epic failure of the original engine a fortnight ago.

Having a bit of a garage sort out today. It seems I've acquired a load of stuff I don't really need again!
Saturday will probably be a trip to Grill n Chill at the Hop Farm providing the weather isn't too dire.

Well I didn't achieve much of what I set out to do last weekend!
Tomorrow I'm drag racing at York, to make up for me not being able to go drifting last weekend. I'm racing my daily so I hope nothing pops!
Sunday... back to doing what I was meant to be doing last weekend (put window in Patrol, replace calipers on MX5)
It's meant to be nice weather too!

Bit of paint work (custom stylee) on some spare headlight covers for the 924...hopefully will work okay but we'll see? Sunday, Tacla Taid (the local car museum) has a retro car club/ford club meet going on, so will pop over for an hour before work

Popped down to the breakfast meet at curborough sprint course for a couple of hours in what turned out to be a hot morning with a surprisingly nice array of cars. I've been invited to the Manor Park classic car meet in Shepperton Surrey, not been to it before.I'm told it will be the last one for this year, the weather looks promising so it should be a good turn out.
10-12 in the Manor Park car park off the B 375 if anyone is in the area.

Well I had a great day racing at York on Saturday. Glorious weather, didn't break the car, but now am hungry for moar power and faster times! Today I got the window in the Patrol so it's now ready to go for the MOT. The drift car still has no brakes but I'll get around to that another day.
