No car stuff from me this week... But more garage progress.   Yeah that is my awesome wife doing 90% of the work. And now the moss and stuff has gone we can see the garage roof is a bit bowed... So actually discovered more work... Any progress on your projects to share? |

Taken the front struts out of the Escort ready for coilover conversion, should be happening tomorrow. Loads of prep for ford fest and players but thats at the top of the list!  |

Not strictly Tuesday progress, more Monday morning before work but, at long last car relatedness Hovered the engine bay of my Golf out (2 dysons worth of cobwebs, dead spiders & leaves) Also took the bumper off & inspected the "wiring" & "plumbing", apparently it did run with this engine in, how it didnt catch fire I have no Idea. And yes the rad fans are mounted in front of the intercooler... and yes if they were working they would be trying to suck, not blow.. ffs.    |

Space is my problem (well lack of it) Commodore has another bonnet and the old one was a bit rotten and taking up space So I cut the skin off it  Yeah very rusty  And colour matched repair panels put to one side  |

Started prepping the escort for an engine out refresh. Sorry no pics. I got pee'd off, my phone was dead so I came home. I started on a bottle of Bacardi! I'll probably finish that before the Escort  |

Made a start stripping some bad repairs off an MG B and just ended up finding more and more problems. Favourite part so far is the 3' square (yes, that's feet not inches) patch on the A pillar and bulkhead that isn't holding the two halves together properly.

Decided to set the valve gaps on the Singer Vogue then discovered all but one were seized in the rockers. So, off with the rockers and on the bench. They all gave in apart from one which needed a little heat. Cleaned them up then had to stop working for food and bed.
Putting it all back tonight.

Mainly this week has been parts ordering for the GT.
The Servo decided to fail last weekend and locked the brakes on, faster you drove the move they were applied.
