Due to change of camp site I am arriving in France tuesday will spend two days wine tasting until site opens thursday should arrive midday ish. There have been long delays at dover with customs/immigration so anyone going via dover leave plenty of time. Last week a customers daughter booked on 11.30 left on the 17.00 !

Doing some last minute poring over maps. Is there a better alternative to the route through Rouen?
Tempting to go through Paris just because I don't think my passenger has ever been there.

It is Rouen or nothing as far as I can tell. Theoretically Rouen is fine, but every time I've been through something has happened! I suspect Paris would be somewhat more insane.
