This is my first ever time posting on here, however as I originally bought this car of this forum 6 months ago I thought I'd fancy my chances.
My MGF, has been a reliable daily driver for the last 6 months. Passed an MOT on march 25th.
This is the more powerful VVC version, the engine pulls very strongly, has never overheated (in my ownership) and shows no signs of head gasket failure.
Everything inside works, there is a good kenwood CD player with AUX input, the boot has a CD multichanger but I have never tested it.
The car is tatty with plenty of bumps and scratches but looks good from 5 yards away.
The gear change is a little vauge and stiff, I believe this to be play in the linkage and could be tightened out (I watched the gearbox input arm under the car as the gearlever was waggled) but I haven't attempted this. Also the back right hand wheel bearing is a little grumbly.
A cheap little sportscar to enjoy the last of the sunshine in. Looking for aroud £600 or make me an offer.
