Hello
I am moving house shortly and have a Garage 24 ft in length and 13ft wide with a single garage door!
I have a 68 BGT at 13ft so want something no more than 10ft but not a mini!
Budget wise circa 2K, any ideas or recommendations based on ownership?

best bet might be an original Fiat 500, other than that - Smart car, goggomobil, BMW Isetta, Scion IQ, 2 Peel P50's, a Motorbike.

Are we buying cars by the foot now? Oh yes, the new form of buying rules! Two cars end to end to fit the Garage!

You already mentioned the solution in your question! The MG can fit in sideways! Put it on go-jacks and swivel it around, leaves you room for another car in front.

That's not a bad shout, would work in the winter but could be a real PITA in the summer!
I've been thinking of a Fiat 126 and creating something Abarth esq!

I like the Go jack Idea, a proper set are not cheap but with the car being less than 5' wide its a no brainer as long as your garage floor is very smooth and flat.

How wide is the garage door? If the car is 13ft long and 5ft wide you need 14ft to turn it. So it would have to go in the door sideways.

The Garage door is a standard single width, when looking at the property I measured the car minus the bumpers and went in with wooden dowel the same length so know it will spin albeit very tight!

Just remember you cant rotate the car within its length, as youll end up needing the diagonal length from corner to corner.

Gotchya, I can still park the MG lengthways and spin the smaller Car, either way it will work.

Seeing as the smaller car will still need to be less than 10' long to be able to rotate it in a 13' wide space, you may as well just park it straight in.
