I managed to get this at a recent autojumble. It'll sit nicely on the milling machine. I couldn't leave it there for 4 quid.   Also got a few morse taper Jacob 34 drill chucks for two quid each. |

Well no bootsale the last few weeks as the weather hasn't been good. We today we went to a local junk shop. I managed to get a new 110V extension lead, a Bosch 110V angle grinder. A coat hook for 1 of my kids rooms. The metal coat hook for the workshop, a 16amp plug and some inserts for 15mm plastic plumbing pipe. Total spent £15.00 so happy enough. Haven't check the grinder yet but we will see  |

Another car boot season finished here - one was over in the middle of September, the other was to have been held for the final time this year yesterday, but the wet weather over the previous week made the field unusable.

Well the bootsales are still going. We took a trip to our local 1 yesterday, despite the weather there where a few stalls to have a rummage though. Picked up these 2. A Snap-on 1/2-3/8 converter, and a Mac tools gasket scrapper. Total spend £2.00. Had a look on ebay. Probably about £35.00 worth so very happy.   |

Picked up these akai sr533 yesterday for free.  No idea if they're decent or not, there isn't much on the net about them, and I don't even know if they work yet, but the boxes are mint and they look nice. Drivers need replacing and might give them a rewire. |

These aren't really from a boot sale as they're not on at the moment, but this box of stuff was £20 from a Facebook marketplace ad, the seller had bought a house and this stuff had been left in the garage.  I mainly went for the nibbler, I seem to recall Falcon ones are quite old and this one has either been looked after, or never used. The bits of threaded bar might come in handy, and there's a VW tie rod in there too along with an 18" adjustable spanner. I wasn't expecting a MAP gas torch thingy, and if I look up the make (Rothenburger) on Screwfix they're £110! I wonder if it works. |

In a bid to get a little healthier I almost ditched pizza and the like, and bought a bike. To a certain extent its worked and I developed a new interest, bikes and local history. Anyway its all come undone because yesterday I found this nice little bike shaped.....  ....pizza cutter, at a local charity shop for £1. And very nicely made it is too. Not given it a test ride yet, that's for Fridays meat feast.😁 |

Whilst helping an older relative have a clear out we found a box of ladybird book cover postcards, 100 of them. They were originally a charity shop find and only contained 74. We had a flick through and were reminded how charming the artwork was. Then I found one that I remember my nan having when I visited, and remember dad saying the car was like his, the wolseley 16/60. I couldn't quite understand it back then because it was the wrong colour, but I can see it now, so i suggested it would be good enough to pay for a day's work. And took it home and framed it.  😁 |

Todays result..... Took the pup to doggy Day care, very happy with this lady, and she will have the dog while we have an enforced week away.  ..... and cheap too, but the better result was the ladys husband is clearing out the Father in Laws Garage which is on their property, the comment was WTF do I do with this, pointing to a BOC bottle in the corner, ARGOSHIELD Light, Size Y, so half bottle, Still got the seal on the cap, so unused, and thus full if it hasn't leaked down, any good to me? How Much was the question.... Just take it......... RESULT Happy Me  Happy Doggy  |

Everyone wants £100+ for everything, no matter how crappy it is everyone wants top dollar. Even if you step in a dogs bum rubbish they want to charge you for it these days. |
