I let a mate drive it this weekend (he's a motoring journalist so I trusted him with it!) And here is the 'review'! Although the engine is much more powerful than it was, I'm still not 100% sure it's at its full potential, so thinking about taking it to someone with a rolling road to get the mixture spot on over the whole rev range. Anybody used Shropshire Automotive before? I've spoken to them on the phone and they're willing to look at it, and importantly let me know before continuing with any work required. |

My dad had a few Stellars and loved them. The first one was actually called the Sonata and was a "New Yorker" special edition  The second was a Stellar GSL I think. I actually have the original Hyundai cigarette lighter lamp that came with one of those cars... if its any use to you, Id be glad to send it to you. Id love for it to be actually of use |

Ooh, that sounds ideal, thanks! As well as anything with wheels or an engine, I also like playing with things that light up :-)

Of course I still have it :-) I've been a bit late getting it on the road this year, due to the cold weather (=salt) but done a few hundred miles so far. I even had to use it for towing duties, as at the time it was the only road legal vehicle I had with a towbar!  |
