I was going to start this as an exclusively suv wheel thread, but I suppose it can work for a lot of wheels. Have you noticed that a lot of SUV wheels, when taken out of context, can look really good or interesting with a much smaller tyre? Lets see some of your favourite examples, I'll start with some of the obvious ones In context Out of Context In Context Out of Context In Context Out of Context In Context Out of Context That'll do for now, I'll contribute again after I've seen some of yours

I've drawn up the spacers I need to get made. Aren't the x5 wheels called bear paws or tiger claws or something. They work nicely on e46s

From this: To this: Admittedly the tyre size difference isn't much, but the XJ makes the wheels look bigger than they do on the DB7!

If you like this thread, then you'll enjoy this one too: retrorides.proboards.com/thread/99066/wheels-borrowed(depending on which direction this thread takes, they may well be merged) In the meantime: Chrysler 300c wheels on my daily. ...and in their natural environment.

Aye I did see that one, I was focusing more on the tyre size than just borrowing from oems though That's what I thought. If the threads become too similar though (not your doing) then merging may take place. :-)

They look awesome on the original car, even with the big balloon tyres: But I reckon they looked even more awesomer on my Rascal with slightly less sidewall: I'd do bad things to own a mint original MA61 these days.
