that's great news.
in a semi related topic I am an organ donor and I'd be flucking curse word off if they don't use any bits of me that are salvageable after I run out of talent at the end of the back straight of Pukekohe. I didn't write donor on my drivers licence form as a joke I want my bits to be used (maybe don't use the brain, and perhaps the liver has seen better days) if they can.
best of luck with the rest of your recovery and I hope you get back in the drivers seat ASAP.
Sheepers.

Ruddy heck - did you get the number of the bus that hit you? In all seriousness though, glad to hear it all went so well. Going to give the surgeon a passenger ride as payback?

That is some hefty bruising. Glad you are back home. So what is the plan now? How long before you know if you are all good? How does it work, do you go up to like 50% kidney function?

Plan now is 6 weeks of visits back to Addenbrooks to monitor the kidney and Tweek the medication , rejection is a major concern and as I'm on imusuppresents which means I can pick up colds etc so need to stay safe . After 6 weeks if everything is ok it's back to the gym and pushbike to try and get my fitness back .
The Noble engine needs to come out so the valves can be changed but that is before next season so she can stay tucked up in the garage for the time being !!!
Going to design a new intercooler with Darren at Radtec as we have seen some high intake temps of full boost , need to replace gearbox cooler pump , shiftercables , Dampers will go back to Protech for a rebuild and some upgrades ,
The car has been massively quick all year so I don't plan to change any aero but there will be a Tweeks to geometry with what we have learnt this year , you can probably tell I'm quite exited about 2018 😎😎

That's a canny bruise, I was speaking to bloke at work who had had a kidney transplant, I didnt know they leave the original in place!
With your improvement in health that can only raise your driving level for next year, will you be staying in the same TA class?

Just read the latest updates (having a few connection issues).
Great to see you are home. Also impressed with the bruising!
Hoping the recovery continues as well as it has so far.

Morning guys , recovery going well , still a bit sore and some bruising coming out on places I did not expect but ok so far .
There has been a lot of discussion this week with the transplant team about how good of a condition I was in health wise , normally with chronic kidney disease patients on dialysis are in pretty poor shape , regular exersize plenty of water and a good diet seemed to help but overall controlling my weight seemed to have made the biggest difference !! The main reason for my weight control was the racing and this year it's been pretty tough keeping under 90 kg as once over that I could not get in my seat 😂😂😂😂
Last week when I arrived I was 85kg the lightest I had been all year !!!
Biggest improvement is how clear my head feels , at Croft I felt pretty foggy and I'm still very surprised how fast we were !! Will certainly but interesting to see what it feels like to drive again !!!
No plans to change class , I love being in with the pro cars .

Ditch the heater, eat more beans. You'll then have your own organic central heating.

Heater assembly will definitely come out as it's curse word anyhow , not sure about the radio though 😱😱😱
Going to get some bigger injectors so should be able to tweek power but to be honest 650 bhp is plenty , we are working with mbe on a button that I can press on the steering wheel that will give me full boost straight away !!!! It will pretty much be a 100bhp shot 😎😎😎
Up until last week I could not eat beans 😂😂
