Absolutely bloody love this thing! I remember having a good look around it at AutoSport and being blown away by the quality of the work.
Pretty inspirational too with the whole debilitating illness, I learnt a couple of years ago just how important it is to live your life, which has led to a lot of changes and me building something I've been talking about since I was 16.
I've fired you over a message on IG about possibly doing a feature on this, hope that's cool.

Very strange. I've just sent another, it should come up as a request in the top right of your IG screen. If not, drop me a message on here if that's ok?

So a busy few days , over to Jetstream on Friday for a few laps of the test track and get sone new plugs fitted , car feels very quick and really grips !!!! Engine cleared it throats the went like crazy !!! 150 Mile round trip along with a few fast laps with no issues . Today took the rear clam off to put some heat protection on around the exhaust , bodywork was getting hot and I was concerned about the wrap !! Next Saturday is the first proper run out with a track day booked at Rockingham !! It would be nice if it was dry !! The following Wednesday we are testing with Pirelli at Caldwell park , that will be the final shake down before the first round of Time Attack at Caldwell on May the 1st !
got spotted too 😂😂

Well yesterday was a good day !! First full day of testing at Rockingham yesterday and the sun was shining !! Now that's a first 😂😂 The day was organised by Track Addicts and there was a large cross section of cars so had to be careful of the closing speeds but mid afternoon the track cleared a bit and we were able to flick to medium boost and push on a bit !! Car felt great all day , stability under bracking seems better and the high speed stability is much improved , around the banking section she felt absolutely planted and I was able to push pretty hard . I have some understeer in the low speed corners which I think is chassis grip problem , not sure how to fix that but it was manidgeable , could be a Rockingham problem , will have too see how I get on at Cadwell on Wednesday . On a personal note I fell comfy and relaxed in the car and did not get too tired which bodes well for the TA season .

I'd love to get in to some sort of track racing. What was your route in?

Hi Ben , started in karts as a boy them Moto X then track days , after 20 years of tuition and track days it was time to have a go at something competitive!! Time Attack is a good way to go racing without the risk to your car !!

Thanks again for the support guys , Wednesday was the first Time Attack test day and the chance to go back to Cadwell park and see what the winter upgrades have bought to the table . On arrival I met up with Allan Cox from ACMR Motorsport , Allan has agreed to support us trackside and will deal with the general maintenance, tyre changing needs for a TA race day , this is going to be a massive help to us and will mean I can concentrate on driving and save my energy !!! On arrival it turned out the battery on the Noble was flat !!! Not sure why as it normally last a couple of weeks but Allan soon had her running and while I was at drivers briefing the brand new Pirelli wets were all fitted and ready to go !! In the morning it was pretty wet so I did 40 or so laps in 2 sessions to try and get used to running on full race wets , the grip of these was impressive and I still need to get a lot more practise on them but I can see them being fun . After lunch the sun shone and the track dried out and although pretty green the Noble felt superb . The aero upgrades have made quite a difference with the car feeling much more stable and very planted although the extra drag has dropped my top speed by 20 mph !!!! Running medium boost at the end of the day I managed to match my best ever lap of 1.41 of a very green track at the start of the year !! Pretty impressive stuff . The lap record for my class is 1.38 so I guess that will be the target at this years TA event , will need to run the full 650 bhp to improve my high speed but I'm sure we can get pretty close !!! Roll on the 1st May !!

Cracking free Saturday today so decided to spend it on the Noble , wife and son out for a 5K inflatable run so I pretty much had a free pass so it was off to my mate Mark's garage to get her on a ramp and in the air . First job was a engine oil filter and oil change , always a bit of trepidation when the magnetic sump plug comes out but thankfully all clean with no iron fillings there !!!! Opie oils had delivered my 10 litres of 10w 60 fully synthetic ester based Titan Pro S and I had called in at Ford and picked up a ST220 oil filter total cost for oil and filter £85 !! She takes about 8 litres too fill up , I always fill the new filter before it is fitted and thankfully the oil pressure comes straight up !! Next job was gearbox oil , again opie oils had sent me 5 litres of Millars competition transmition oil and it was strained as it came out the box to check for debris again thankfully nothing was there !! A good clean around engine bay then all wheels off for inspection and brake clean , everything looks in good order . Managed to refit the rear clam as the extra downforce had pushed the rear clip mounts down 15mm !!!! These mounts were then drilled and tapped and a bolt put in to stop them moving in future , just goes to show how much Extra downforce the wing is making !! The front flat floor aero looks good although the splitter is getting a bit of a bashing !!! Will need to fit some skid blocks to protect it ! Pretty good morning although started too feel pretty knackered so headed home for a sleep 😴 hate this disease 😢😢 4 weeks until the first Time Attack round !!!
