The Cosmo styled one is quite smart actually, and at least it's in the family. 59 Caddy style is just crazy, Z3 thing is ugly, just like a genuine Z3 I suppose The Aston one does look quite neat and well done..........

Am I wrong for liking this one? I would only have it though if it had a V8 to go with the muscle car styling

Last thing I thought I'd say but some of those work remarkably well! Look like someone's really put some time and thought into getting the proportions right

I was just thinking, isn't that Cosmo one an official Mazda creation from a few years back? Seem to remember other pics of something very similar on a Mazda stand at a show. *goes off to Google* Thats it, Mazda Cosmo 21 shown at the 2002 Tokyo show. 13B Rotary powered and was supposed to go into limited production.

You'd think that most of these would be laughable monstrosities, along the lines of the MR2 Ferrari reps or the Metro based TT's, but no! The majority work really well, as said, the builders have put a lot of effort into the proportions and execution.

The Z3 replica is awful, there was one on eBay UK a year or so ago. Just about the only replica where the base car is much better than the piece of curse word it's emulating. The AC Cobra one is fab though!

I've seen a bunch of people overhauling a complete wreck in 60 minutes on TV, so why can't I do it in 3 weeks?

brilliant The more I look at this one, the more I think how well it works. It's not a million miles away from the original shape too so was probably a damn sight easier than many of the others. If that isn't an available kit then someone should start knocking them out. They would become a very rich person very quickly.
