1976 Renault 12 TL
Unfortunately I'm the only one in the household who thinks it's 'cool'
Added some yellow head lamp bulbs,
Doesn't need much doing, there's a slight problem with the gearbox but I have a spare. Was thinking about adding some period alloys?

I think it's very cool. Loads of these in Turkey, have a huge soft spot for them. Good stuff!

Keep the car, drop it a bit, get a new household that has style and taste, sorted.

I'm in North Essex, number plate is miss spaced to give it a bit of a Euro/French look.

I think it's very cool. Loads of these in Turkey, have a huge soft spot for them. Good stuff! Watched American Sniper last week and spotted a few, obviously common in Iraq too!

Cooler than a cool thing in a cool place... lose the other members of your household, they don't deserve you

Looks smart, and the colour is good.Keep it fairly standard I think, and move away from all family members and things will be much better.......

That is perfection just as it is, utter perfection...
The only thing I'd do is get some period style UK plates as the Euro' thing just doesn't look quite right in my eyes (my eyes are curse word though!)...
Keep this as it is and you'll be as happy as a French man eating cheese and drinking wine!
This reminds me of the bright red Renault 12 estate our 'road safety' officer ('scare the $h!t' out of kids officer that should be!!!!!!!) had in the 1980's when I was at Primary School... Mr.Pople! What a legend he was...
Anyhow, your 'douze' is gorgeous...

Thumbs up from me, I think it's cool. There is, unfortunately, no accounting for the taste of family members, I think many of us have the same problem. Is that your cool Art-Deco type house it's parked in front of?

I love these, there's a load of them still in Romania too, where they lived on as Dacia 1300s for ages. I think they were building them as recently as 2004!

That looks fantastic. They used to everywhere and its now years since i saw one on the road. Like the yellow headlamp bulbs. Only French cars can really carry those off. What about a set of the original R5 Alpine/Gordini wheels for it, if you can find a set. I used to have a 70s Renault brochure and it showed all the official accessories you could buy for your car. There were the usual fog/spot lights, go faster stripes alloys but the best 70s accessory was the rear window louvre. Something to think about.
