ohh yes numberplates have many issues for me.
Putting german plates on a english car because its made in germany! *shakes head* The only way your going to look any cooler than average by changing your numberplates is by getting some serck 'roboticâ„¢' ones from somewhere (possibly involving a time machine) and becomeing the ruler of the universe because you are THAT cool no one can challange you!

The worst number plates are the DIY personalised ones - just your standard reg number but with the pratts name on a little sticker underneath. How sad is that?
Cheap "spinner" wheeltrims belong in room 101 as well, they look stupid, and when the car is pulling up to a junction, just for a second, you think they're pulling out in front of you.

What I'm well aware of though, is that if it were mine it'd also be sitting on the drive looking worse than when I got it and I'd still be talking about what I might do to it if I had the skills, time or money. I am certainly not in a position to critisise your car building skills, sir. In short, whilst I wouldn't have done that with the handles, I certainly wouldn't have been skilled enough to do any of it. You win.

I think its good we can overlook things on other peopels cars we don't relly like and just say ' i wouldnt have done it that way' but still be open and say "i don't like that" with out fear of offending! Dosent mean we think the cars curse word beacuse it has one or 2 things 'wrong' eh? I doubt mr nightmares cares what you think of his car anyway... right? heh

My only real hate (that I could quite happily punish with the painful, slow and violent torture using bulldog clips, vinegar, sandpaper and the offender's genitals) in the car world: Those w*nkers that go around car shows loudly slagging off other people's cars... you know the sort? The sort of tosspots who turn up in their Mundano and then criticise every car there in some way - the wrong wheels, the wrong paint, rust etc within earshot of the owners as though they have some sort of god-given right to be some sort of car police. I was removed from one high-profile show for having a go at one such dullard grunter, during my editorship of CLASSICS - I was going to lamp the guy for loudly slagging off some chap's Marina for being "the worst car ever made and has no right to be at a car show" whilst within earshot of the visibly upset owner. Even though it had now to do with me, I was furious... (BTW - just re-read the above, and that isn't meant at a dig at anyone's comments in this thread as we are all entitled to our own opinions. If we all liked the same thing, we wouldn't be on this forum, would we? )

again on private plates- any of the ones with z in ( are they irish plates or some thing.
they have things like daz, baz, kaz, taz, gaz, jaz, spaz more like.
these always make me cringe, knowing they are the cheapest pos plates and just w@nk also any with football club initials. lfc etc.. and people who plaster football stuff all over the rear shelf-
lad i work with has stick on evertong things on the inside of the windows and a mahooosive everton sticker with some gash slogan under it right across the rear screen - although i admit to being a bit biased as i think football sucks a big dogs c0ck. plastic stick on wheel trims, my missus bought some for here car ( my old motor ) which was sat on black steels which looked fine- nope, now it has cheap plastic £8 wheel trims held on with £9 worth of variois coloured cable ties.
chavs who fit wide bodykits and keep the standard skinny wheels, was a class corsa this way last year, a good 8" gap from the arch lip to the tyre. those mini bucket seat mobile phone holders. any car that has a copy of a bonnet vent from a different car fitted.
eg, locally there is a white punto with a sunny gtir bonnet vent, also have seen a rover 200 with one.
theres a corsa with the gt4 carlos sainz vent. another corsa with a subaru scoop etc etc.
on the subject of subarus- it was almost mildly funny when the scooby connection was first made. but every year at JAE or japshow, go anywhere near the subaru owners stand and 90% will have a cuddly toy scooby doo on the shelf, a large one on the bonnet, more on the dash etc.... we get it, " subaru, scooby doo" how witty ffs
" driftworks " logos on normal front wheel drive motors
" too fast too fantasy" logos on cars that are bog standard, or slightly modified, or highly modified, on any car at all really.
pointless use of lcd screens in cars. saw one in a mag with screens in the headrests- fair enough if you have kids, but also had rear headrest, and screens fitted in them too- why.
accidently saw a gimp my ride program where they fitted some to the mudlaps of a 4x4!!!
people who get those scripted letters and put there initials on their car door near the handles( back in the late 80's and early 90's)
arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I think everythings been said. Except 'MPVs'.
I dislike MPVs. And I don't care how low they are, or what wheels are fitted, or what stupid amount of camber the back is running...
Ah, another dislike: excess camber.
