these are real wanted ads from freecycle over the weekend: WANTED: 30 year old Vespa - low mileage only (Whitley Bay) reply to graham WANTED: Any old vintage car / motorcycle (Forest Hall) I was wondering if any freecycler out there has an old vintage car or motorcycle that they no longer want. I'm looking for a restoration project as a hobby. Most things considered. Thanks, Paul. I cant believe the cheek of these chancers, a couple of weeks ago, someone was asking for ' estate car, must be taxed, have MOT and be a diesel"

I was looking for a PC for my lady friend a while back, as the one she had still runs on parrafin (lamp oil) and had been mullered by the kids..... got one and a screen from Manchester and Essex, both were from guys who were gonna skip them.
I have given away stuff as well, and believe we should share more often.
Woever, I do get the point of the Vespa brigade.

I've asked on my local one if anyone had a Skoda Estelle or Rapid in Grandad's garage etc as a rescue/project. You never know, because so many went onto motability/disabled tax and then the old gent pops it.
Never got a reply which is a shame..

I replied to a fiat uno diesel non runner ad on freecycle, was given a 96 punto TD with a flat battery (!) I did ask if he was sure before loading it onto the truck....

To get a standard A40 this low, you'd have to dig a hole to put it in
