hi, I'm after a mid-range set of coilovers for my car (vw passat 54 plate 1.9tdi 4motion) but need uprated springs on the rear. so, which manufacturers/dealers would you reccomend?
looking at spending £600-£800 ideally as used the £200 ebay specials before and was not happy with them at all

I had AP on my b5 A4 and was very impressed with the ride quality compared to budgets
However with your budget you'll be able to afford something even better. If I was you I would be looking at KW.
My past couple of suspension purchases have been through dpm performance. Damien who runs it uses quite a few vw forums so it's worth contacting him through one of them as he often offers discounts.
