firstly, a lovely 2002 touring in inca orange-
ain't it a sweatheart?
if you have a touring, you will notice 2 things. one- you'll gas yourself to death everytime that you back off. the tailgate seal is rubbish and draws all the exhaust fumes into the car on overrun
two- you'll learn lots of crazy religious prayers and dances to ward off stone chips and busted windows. touring glass is about 1" taller than 02 saloon stuff, and consequently doesn't exist
it was in for some mot work, thats the last time it hit the road! was stored afer its respray, why it looks so fresh pity it runs like a nail really.......
forlorn projects-
repaired m3 shell (a real one) has e30 318is running gear and early 318i electrics, ie. very basic! one we'll not likely finish, and as m3 shells make a mint, this shell (and maybe V5) will be going on ebay sometime.
one i prepared earlier. twice actually. its a real m3 tourer! well it almost is
its a 328i with full m3 cabrio running gear and m3 saloon interior parts and half leather. the 328i loom wasn't compatable so its got a 320i loom in. only that doesn't interface fully either 3 years have passed and maybe next year i'll be sticking a more likely loom in, which we've had for a year. its on a brand new factory shell too. one day....
pork doesn't move far either. crashed in munich 2 years ago, it needs very little to make good, but these bloody customers keep getting in the way
