I hate to do this and am still very much in two minds about doing this but I think it has to happen.
Due to a lack of time and motivation I have decided to thrown in the towel on my Dolomite project. There is a link to the full story in my signature but the summary is as follows:
1977 1850HL russet brown automatic
Good:
- Just over 40k on the clock
- Bodywork never welded and extremely original
- Very clean interior
- Brand new Yokohama tyres all round on recon Minilite reps.
- Rebuilt rear suspension with all new bushes, brakes and brake lines
- Complete rear end rewire
- 2.0 TR7 engine fitted at some point
- An actual shed load of parts - everything is included but take what you need. I can deliver. Parts include trim, bumpers, an overdrive, brakes, clocks, chrome, seals, dashboards, electrical stuff, you name it.
- Nearly new sports stainless exhaust
- New fuel tank
- Electronic ignition
- Halogen headlamps with relay conversion
Less good:
- Currently a Cat-C write off after a fire. As seen in the build thread this has been dealt with and just needs paint to finish it
- No tax or MOT
- Needs some minor work for an MOT and a respray to make perfect
As I stated above I am still very much in two minds and will probably carry on working on the car to get it towards an MOT when I get the motivation back.
The car is in Crowborough and can be viewed at weekends and evenings. Drop me a PM on here and I will get back to you with my mobile and email.
Cheers
James
