Name : Tim Spencer Location : Hove Retro/Interesting Cars Owned : as above Shows Regularly Attended : Goodwood events mostly (public and track day) because it's close. I've not been attending too much of late due to life getting in the way. Hoping to start getting to more events now my kids are both at school and are less interested in riding me round the living room every Saturday, shoving straw in my mouth and tying me to the radiator. What are you hoping to do here: Chat about cars, roads, stuff like that. Maybe get some advice about modding here and there. Have a laugh mostly though.

Hi All, I'm Glen I live in Dover, in East Kent. I've a 1959 Series 2 Land-Rover running an early 90s 200 tdi engine: And a 1966 Austin VAK100 "Noddy" van, which is a bit of a project.... I'm not really one for shows or gatherings (solitary and grumpy, that's me ), but I try and get to those that my shift work allows. I'm not on any social media either, but some may recognise my avatar and username from other forums. All the best, Glen.

Quick correction on my introduction... as of yesterday I no longer own a Bedford CF2. It's gone to a new owner who will be able to take better care of it than I have been able to lately.
Must admit I almost shed a tear as I watched it drive off. It was a significant part of my life for a number of reasons.

Hi all. My name is Dan. Old fords are my thing
I'm from Southampton
Currently trying to restore a 76 Mk3 Crayford Cortina and just got my hands on a French 71 Taunus TC.
The Crayford is stripped and being welded back to near standard and the Taunus may be getting V8 power, just for giggles
I don't do many shows as always too busy!
I've joined to try and gain some knowledge and help from you lot!

I've a thread about putting the Tdi in on another forum, not sure if it's ok to link but I could PM it to you if not. As to "build thread", the internet didn't really exist when I bought it in 1993. Most of the work done to it, certainly the big jobs like replacing the chassis, predate me being massively active on forums. It looks a little different to that pic now, the synthetic bronze green paint has suffered badly from the sunlight, it has side sills all the way along, different wheels and tyres and it wears a better hard-top than that one too.

Hmmm - just noticed I haven't posted on this. So then... Name : Paul Redfern Location : Burton Upon Trent Retro/Interesting Cars Owned : 1975 MG Midget. Previously Fiat Coupe 20VT, Pug 206 XS, Rover Tomcat, and erm, a mk 5 Escort and a Maestro 1.3L... Shows Regularly Attended : Donington Historic, The Gathering. Used to do loads more, but moved away from the modified scene and got more into the classic and retro side of things. What are you hoping to do here: Be inspired by the depth and breadth of the cars and skills on here. Oh and eventually get my backside into gear and learn to weld

Hi I'm new here so am a little confused at moment. Thank you for adding me.My name is Dieter and i live in Ringwood Hants. Whilst recently checking out pictures of Pontiac Parrisienes (never could spell it )(or is that right ? )on the internet quite by accident i stumbled across an image of one bearing the Reg Number PGP 8E. The very car i had to reluctantly sell. I owned this for a while in the eighties. I traced the picture back to this forum. I would appreciate any info i could find out. When i had the car it was green and would never have sold it if i wasnt at the time getting married. The marriage is now over !!! Thank you for any info. Apart from starting off many years ago with an A35 van!! one of my very favourites was a 1500 GT Mark One Cortina in red and white..Cheers

Nice collection. LOVE that Moggy Speedwell. Those tyres on the rim/hubcap combo really make it.
Nice to see a Bedford CA in use too. Looks to be in really good nick. I'm an ex-Bedford (CF2) owner. Very fond of the Bedford brand personally.

Love that Humber too. Don't know how I missed that! Just checked out your profile James and found the pics with the steel wheels and the stickers. I have to say I really like that look too. What are your plans for it niw? I've got a Humber too. Just collected it but haven't had any time to explore it much. Drove back a fairly long distance and loved the trip, but really need to spend some quality time with my new friend now.
