Good morning.

Location : Watton, Norfolk. Occasionally Budapest. There is a bunch of us that meet every month at a pub near Snetterton - mix of car tastes and ages under the umbrella of "Norfolk Mountain Rescue Club" Feel free to ping me a message if you want the dates and location as you are very local to us

From Geordieland currently marooned in Leicester, an unattractive place that's too far from the sea.
Cars minis, polos, golfs, fiat coupe, e39, e38, Audi avant.
still extending the garage with a view to a 356 porsche rep, but using only the shell and glass the rest of it will be much more interesting. As usual time and budget are the problems, not a lack of ambition

Name : Gabriel (tho I’ve been around many forums that only know me by my username even when in meatspace) Location : Austin, TX Retro/Interesting Cars Owned : 1959 Fiat 500 Nuovo America Heres the thing; I’m a motorcycle guy, cars are just vehicles in my world. Name : Jaime Location : Central Texas, U.S.A. Retro rides/Interesting Cars Owned: 89' Toyota Supra, 66' 911, 66' Chevrolet Impala. Shows Regularly Attended : I just kind of show up. Instagram, Twitter, Facebook pages :You can find these in my profile. IG is jaime.pipoca, car related one is House of Kog. What are you hoping to do here: International car camaraderie, plus I like looking/learning about cars I don't get here in the U.S. Anything else we should know?: My friend and I have a car restoration YT channel I like Ford's Euro designs more than the U.S. for the most part. I think the most English styled vintage U.S. car is the 1st generation Chevrolet Corvair, which is from 1960-64'. Of the two Corvair generations, I prefer the 2nd gen two door the most 65'-69'. but not at all the 4-door. I like the 1st gen 4-door, but the 2-door not as much. I used to draw cars quite a bit. My eyes will tear up if an exhaust sounds just right for me. I get a bit overwhelmed emotionally with the sound. I used to be founder and president of the Texas Supra Club.
Tylerman, There's a regular cruise in at Kinda Tropical Bar at 3501 East 7th Street. Nice little meet up. It's every other Monday 7-10p and the next one is the 9th. I can't confirm, but $1 off beers and burgers. I'm guessing you just mention you're there for the park and hang car meet.

Thanks for the heads up, we just moved to the area last summer though I used to party in Austin back when I was in college. I’ll have to swing by and check it out once my knee/leg has healed from surgery and I can ride again.

Name : Melvyn Location : Kansas now, used to be Essex. Retro/Interesting Cars Owned : Nothing really exciting or truly retro right now - a 2002 Nissan D22 Frontier (uh, Navarro, I guess) and a 2007 Nissan Murano. Stuff I owned in the past wasn’t really retro at the time, just old junk, although I’d like my mk2 Fiesta 1.4S back again. Kinda miss that go kart, but the tin worm took it from me. Shows Regularly Attended : I go to local shows when I’m in the mood, nothing y’all would have heard of. . Lots of classic American iron, obviously, but there also quite a collection of proper Minis here. Instagram, Twitter, Facebook pages : I have the Twitter in the same username but haven’t posted much of note in years, and trying to get the mojo to actually edit and post something on YouTube as @tinkeringwith ( Link, in case you care) but first I’ve got to do something interesting worthy of camera time. What are you hoping to do here: Really, hang out and admire the sort of cars I was around and into growing up - mostly 70’s though 90’s Fords, but anything interesting really. I figure I’m never gonna get that 3-door Cossie in my shed now, but I can admire from afar. Would like to pick up something USDM from the 90’s and remake it in a sort of homage to the boy racer chariots of old. We’ll see… lots of other things to take care of before that can happen. Anything else we should know?: Grew up in an all-Ford family, dad, grandfather, uncles, all drove Fords. Got my first ride on the “wrong side of the car” in an uncles early 70’s Taunus coupe. My first car was a Polo, then a mk1 Fiesta, mk3 Escort, mk2 Fiesta, then a mk3 Orion. Loved that last one. Only Ford I had here in Yankee-land was a 2006 Focus; here that was more a mk1.5, same basic body as the mk1 but with Duratec engines instead of Zetec, and some body and trim differences.

Name : My name is Geoff Location : London Retro/Interesting Cars Owned : The selhurst viva, once known for being manky and never moving. Now just manky. I've not long created a build thread for the car if you'd like to see more. I also daily a ratty mk3 cortina that sadly isn't mine. But owned by a close family member. In the past i have owned everything from morris 1100's to vauxhall firenza's. @geoffreyorpington on instagram is where you will find some evidence of my previous stupid decisions I'm looking forward to getting involved via my viva build thread, gathering inspiration from others and probably buying something else pre-1984 and regrettable in the near future to daily instead of the cortina. Thanks for the warm welcome i've already received.
