Name: Terry Location: Sussex Retro / Interesting cars owned: '05 350Z GT4 (sold) '99 RX7 (current toy - not quite retro) I also seem to have a bit of a problem with Saxo's. I am currently on my fourth. The first step to getting clean is admitting you have a problem, right? My old man has a similar issue with Capri's, owning many over the years. He currently has a 2.8i that needs a bit of love so I may need to seek some advice in the future. I've been lurking here for a while, enjoying the build threads and keeping my eye on the for sale section. I also attended the RRW'18, what a great event! I'm hoping to attend more events next year and I'm hear to generally learn about and admire the wide variety of retro metal on here. See you around! Welcome! Fellow 350z fan here.

What are you hoping to do here: After five years reading us i've decided to register. Hopefully i'll learn a lot from all of you and in the future, when i'll have the job i'm trying to get (i'm preparing Guardia Civil access test), show you my retroride. Anything else we should know?: Now I use a mk7 fiesta as a daily car, in the future, when grandpa decide to retire from the roads I'd like to restore and update his old but loyal dturbo Xsara.

Been into cars since I was a little lad. Taught all the basics by my Dad and then did an apprenticeship with a BMC franchise in Acton London. General interest in all things auto related. In my twenties and thirties I was into oval racing and built my own F1,F2, stockcars. As I got older my interest turned towards assorted mildly tweaked road cars, mostly Fords. Current car is a '66 Mustang.
Don't do any major work any more (disabled) but am happy enough to tinker with the smaller stuff. Lost interest in other forums so came here to revive my enthusiasm.

Hi all Andy - Whitburn Village - NE England
Stumbled across your forum early last week. I’ve just been made redundant and I’m currently “working” my 3 months notice. For working read playing on internet So far the Retro Number Game has been keeping me occupied, I promise I’ll add something a bit more constructive

Been lurking round here for a year or so, now signed up to try and put something back if I can.
No current retros but have had a couple of MK2 Golfs in the past, my son has an mx5 so that will have to do for now. Love this forum for the level of activity and the lack of ego! Some amazing artisans in metalwork which makes for fascinating reading.

Good morning, wandered over here following a few others, some folks will know me under the name of "English Impala" from other forums going back over the years. No longer have an Impala, currently have a 1957 Ford Ranchero running a 302 V8, AOD transmission, uprated brakes, steering and lowered. Plus a complete nut & bolt restoration.

I was an active member for a while until several years ago when I had a frank exchange of views with one of the moderators and left (of my own accord). Recently landed on a thread here by accident and started reading some of them and decided its water under the bridge & I should re-join.

Name - Jon Location - Warwickshire Interesting car - I had a thing for Herald derivatives for many years, but renounced them for an old 911. It’s lovely, but I ride motorbikes whenever I can so it sees the light of day less often than it should.
I don’t go to many shows. Favourite drive was to Munich and back in my Porsche with a mate in another old 911. I post on Instagram under the same name, and annoy my better half with regular stops while out and about to photograph old and interesting stuff on 2, 3 and 4 wheels 🙂.
I’m also a slow learner, and started a ‘hello’ thread before spotting this one 🙄
