Hello everyone. My name's Omar and I recently wrote a feature for Max Power magazine about retro cars. It's in the next issue which is out at the end of next week. Nice pictures. I keep meaning to pick up a copy but I'm actually struggling to find it in my local newsagents now! I'm not sure if retro cars are getting more common at the moment, or if I just notice them more, but I do seem to see more modified classics around than I used too.

Just a bit of further comment from me, the change of image (very much needed I reckon) is definitely something that has interested me. Whilst it has received a lot of praise here recently, I always wondered how it would sit with the "old" audience. Just having a look at the site at www.maxpower.co.uk and it's an interesting read in the comments section, particularly in this one. Sounds like they're not best pleased!! To be honest I reckon abandoning the "Unique" tacky plastic car brigade is definitely the way to go. It's a very bold move and I really hope it works out in the long run. Let's see some interesting cars, old and new, cheap and pricey, fast and slow, whatever makes good reading really! |

this curse word curse word that the maxpower show as been canncelled. I was goin to put my car in the show this year but now its beenin canncelled I can't to so. maxpower this goin down bank if they do sum fin soon every one will go sum were to get the show's and the fit girls QED. |
