Additional Information & Pictures
Well I bought this car in Feb 2011 to drive up to the highlands and then down to the south of France, my intention was then to sell it when I got back as I fancied another small car. However I found I kind of liked it, a lot and I have had it ever since. I really do love it. Its comfortable and economical. We regularly run down to the Wifes Parents in Herefordshire and it eats up the miles. Just this weekend we've done nearly 1200 miles in it without a hiccup. I would have no problems jumping into this car and driving anywhere.
The only reason I'm selling up is that the wife won't drive it because she thinks its too big and too low. Otherwise I would be whacking the replacement wing on and put the Merc wheels back on it and keep it.
In the time I've had it I have replaced: clutch, all suspension arms, AP coilovers, wheel bearings, brake pads and discs, steering rack. As well as regular servicing, also had the thermostat replaced and coolant replaced this winter. All the work apart from the clutch has been carried out by Piney.
Modifications are fairly limited
AP coilovers
20mm spacers on back
Debated and dewipered.
The bodywork is the main thing that let's the car down, it has scuffs and scrapes and a damaged wing, however I have a replacement wing in the right colour to go with it.
