I'm unsure which part represents my paint code I'm pretty sure it's the '104 C' but just wanted to double check.. If this is right, does anyone know where i could get the paint from/mixed? I'm sure a friend has mentioned Halfords but i'm not fully confident they will do the best job.. (hopefully i'm wrong) This is the colour i'm after.. Cheers for any help, Adam

Didnt know Halfrauds had a colour mixing dept there is loads of bespoke paint specialists out there, Just Google around your local area, I use Brown Brothers where I am and the last couple of colour matches were bang on Found this site which has a 104 coded colour Nissan - Datsun colour codes Hopefully this may help a tad

Your best taking the car to a automotive paint supplier who will colour match the car as it is. Paint that old will have faded significantly. If you got new paint going by the code it will not match at all. But if your doing a full respray that's different.

Halfords would be able to mix some up, but they only do small cans or touch up pots and as mentioned, the match would probably not be very good on old faded paint

104 light green met. is the paint and c is trim spec, Looks like a fun colour to try match, most of them sunny's came in colours that are near impossible to match, If its going to be an obvious area you could try get a paint supplier to match it to your car and stick it in a aerosol for you, Halfrauds wont get anywhere near it

I've used many litres of there paint that I didn't supply , its fine as paint, they probably could match it but its a very particular process, OEM code- Ref code- mix ratios, weight's. I always at least have it matched to the filler cap or peal a chunk of paint of the damaged area to match to, because there can already be colour variations from previous repairs, if its down low on the car or not in a obvious area anything close will do if you can blend, you need to have exceptional eyesight for colours and paint codes are only an idea of the colour usually, some have three variarts and others 50 each a slightly different colour, I'm off to put the keyboard in the fridge

As someone else said the code is 104 leaf green silver metallic
And a real pain to blow in and match too haha

Cheers for all the replies!
I was hoping not to spend a crazy amount on the beast but i would like it looking nice, i'm leaning more towards an automotive paint supplier/specialist and get some aerosols made up, it's only the strips down the sides and the boot badges that will need doing so i'm thinking 1-2 cans will sort it, i just wanted to try get the colour as close as possible.
Will search around and see if i can find any local and report back!
