	Wow! More angryfying (sp) stories here. Everytime you can blame the parents IMO, but that does not help us does it, when its our benefits/security/environment bringing up these future-crims! some are just naughty. some are only enthusiastic which is nearly ok my old capri had loads of bike bars marks all over it for the local kids who were quite nice but came from scratty families. most amusing/scary episode was while visiting a mate 11 yrs ago in my virtually XR2 powered resto-shed look mk1 festa, on this roughish estate I saw a bunch of yoofs in the road, not really moving, I had no where to go, one kid was sat there in an old pushchair one or two on bikes.. cruising along I saw nothing but glum 'am I bovvered' type faces blocking my path. I suddenly had a dark evil teenage moment, and nailed it! propper went for it, this car was a bit too fast for a first car! I saw the gang flee, and the kid crapping himself stuck in the chair trying to proppel with his feet!!! they shifted, I think I scared myself on that one but it was fugging funny!!!! ;D

Worst of it was, it was usually other club members kids. They were a curse word nightmare! Two of them robbed my wheel caps, right there in the middle of a concours field, with both the parents and me watching! 'Put them back' was shouted, and the parents replyed with 'but there only kids'. So curse word what!!!

	We have tried to teach our 2 not to touch other peoples cars, to look with their eyes and not fingers etc, but it is very hard. On the whole my 2 are good and don't touch, but sometimes they do forget, especially when they see adults touching our car and kicking the tyres, kerb feelers, open the doors etc. Kids can be unpredictable, no matter how much you watch them and how well behaved they are. They can get bored at shows, especially if dad wants to look at every car twice or if it's really busy and they are getting sleepy. Which is why sometimes we don't take the kids and leave them with granny & grandad. Why not, next time a child is touching your pride & joy, speak to the child, talk to them about it. Chat to the parents. Ask the child what their favourite car is. Whilst doing this, you can then politely ask the parent & child not to touch the car. It does work.

	Yeah its a real buzz to speak to a kid, and to think that you may inspire them to own summat silly/different when they grow up, some of em are ok i realise.
