Testing the water on this ? As if there is no interest I will be forced to break ! I'll spare you my life story and my embarrassment and simply say, It's all in need of a new home 1980's Ginetta G26 Stripped down front end (Cortina subframe/ gaz coilovers) needs finishing BOA lump (Needs rebuild) with type 9 V6 box, ECU, wiring, MAF, air filter, 2.8 flywheel everything to finish apart from clutch etc Recaro seats from RS turbo, lots of parts but lots to finish ! Alloy rad 14" cross spoke alloys £1000 You can see the car in my build thread !! :\ in my sig link below It's everything you see in the thread apart from the RFX wheels Like I say I'll see if this gets any interest ? How much for the car minus the engine? I'm more into 2.0 16v's than big V6's.

How much for the car minus the engine? I'm more into 2.0 16v's than big V6's. I could be tempted by the opposite of this.. (gearbox my way, no good to Mr.Bo11 on a 4-cyl.)

Thanks for the replies chaps I think I'm going to have to go down this route anyway ! xbo11oxIt just depends how much of the car you want mate, shell/chassis with only back axle/brakes, with fecking good fezzy doors etc probably £250 ? Wheels, front subframe, interior, unfortunately extra So £600 for everything minus engine: all above and RS Recaro's, Alloy rad, plus lots I've forgotten about, I'm basing the price on the fact that it's got all it's original paint from the factory which is a bonus on these and is wired built and trimmed better than most ! Staggered 16" Revolution RFX's £300: 4x108 7J fronts 2x new 215/45/16 and rears 8J with 7mm Nexen 245/45/16 HARDCORE V6 BOA Cossy, V6 type 9 box, loom & Ecu, MAF/air filter, 2.8 capri flywheel, manifold and cats with oxy sensors etc £400 collected from Manchester Cheers and all the best Dave

It's basically as in the thread, i've got a new tensioner slipper to fit and new plunger, so it's more of a mini rebuild, heads and crank etc untouched I'm going to try and get to the motor whilst I've got a week off, it's currently in my old fellas dry storage Cheers Dave
