Fairly major update - after the full engine rebuild it was running well but the C4 transmission was leaking fluid more than ever. I've tried (and failed) several times over the past month to remedy this, but at the moment its not driveable as the box is empty until further notice. However I did pick up some wheels, shod them in some new tyres and along with some bashing, some spacers and a bit of moving stuff about, they are on and (I believe) transform the car...  More when its back on the road... |

Cheers guys, they are modern wheels, meant to look like OZ turbos. I'd say they're replicas, but that tends to imply being poorly made and these don't seem too bad compared with some other wheels I've had in the past.
Turbos being a very 80s wheel I thought they'd suit the look of the car, but genuine OZs probably never came in this fitment and offset (especially for this price!) so these will have to do.
I havn't actually driven the car on them yet, I only got the gearbox to stop leaking around the middle of last week and I've been busy ever since. As soon as it stops raining I will take it out, make sure the wheels don't rub too much (they look ok up in the air, but it might rub on corners etc) and then finish them off for some pictures.
Hopefully have some good pics this weekend, all being well!

You've sealed it for me. I've decided, that when the P100 gets sold, I'm going to buy a Fox Bodied 302 Mustang. There, I've said it!

Haha great  Make sure when you do that you sign up to Fox doctors UK and show us when you do - or drop by beforehand and buy one of the ones up for sale on there! Guessing you won't want an early four eye one like this though? Most of those are 4 or 6 cylinder (like mine). |

Very helpful club. Yeah there are quite often some of the later 'aero' later models with the full headlamps up for sale, V8 models for very reasonable prices. I think they're fantastic, but I'm quite happy with a six at the moment and prefer both the look of the 'four eyes' and the notchback body shape (most later models for sale in the uk seem to be coupes). Let me know when you've got one though |

SmokeEm, I've seen your P100 up for sale on various pages now so I guess you're pretty serious Anyway, couple of quick pictures from last nights Renegade meet, with a few other RR-ers present;   I had a rather eventful drive home after this, as there was a somewhat torrential downpour and I forgot my wipers trip out after a couple of minutes. Then the car decided to stall whilst going along a major A road at about 60mph (not sure what the problem was causing this yet), and I'm still awaiting a new switch unit to fix some 'illumination issues'. It got me there and back though! |

SmokeEm - I assume you're referring to the Mercedes in your profile picture? The prices may start to rise on Foxs soon, so you'd better get a move on Very minor update - I managed to blow the cobwebs off and get the mustang MOT'd ready for some driving this summer hopefully!   She was feeling a little neglected, but some super in the tank and a charge of the battery and she drove fine! |
