Does Ron act as a forwarder for any size parcel? I’m trying to track down a vacuum and power steering pump assembly for the engine that’s going into my lorry. They’re cheap in the US as they’re a common fitment to Dodge Rams, but none of the inexpensive suppliers will ship out of the US, and those that will want a lot more money for the parts as well as stupid money for shipping. Contact detail and phone numbers sent by WhatsApp Glenn. Chat soon.

Inner fender for what? Dimensions? Note the size of the C10 fenders above. Of course this part (well, parts) is a different proposition altogether. As you start at £91.00 just per fender ex warehouse. I went and picked it up from Ron's as Johnny was headed south at the time , dimensions wise it was a snug fit across back seats of the discovery behind front seats and reached door to door.

Contact detail and phone numbers sent by WhatsApp Glenn. Chat soon. Every day is a school day. Not only was I unaware of Ron and his services before today, I also knew nothing of Rock Auto. They weren’t the cheapest supplier of the vacuum pump I need, but they weren’t far off, and their UK shipping is exceptionally reasonable, and quicker than the alternatives, so I’m now £177 lighter. Hopefully I’ll not get too badly shafted by HMC&E.

I am looking forward to seeing if the pilot can pull this off. Have message Rock Auto to find out dimensions and shipped mass. Double trouble? Yellow Perils times two. And possibly the photo I had in my mind the last two weeks. A truer and more loyal friend than a dog is hard to find. This is how most of us feel about Andy once we get to meet him. Good to see that you made it home Andy. For those wondering. Excluding plane trip and ferrying to to Tulsa. Actual trip mileage 2,972..

Living in a country where everything is a Toyota (or similar) jellymold, the FJ is one of the few motors that stands out. One went past me the other day with an aftermarket exhaust and the V6 sounded quite tasty. Would I buy one? No. Do they brighten the jellymold life? Yes!

You have a rich imagination! This is a very late (1980) 96: Thanks and yes maybe, but I did not say they could be identical twins. I just see some similarities, especially the grille/indicator section and the overall roundness of those noses. Here´s that pic again, closer to that saab for comparison:

Side Update from St Louis, Missouri Dennis has been quietly getting on with his NASCAR ‘66 C10 build. Yesterday is was power steering pump bracket fabrication Then brake bias setting And still to be fitted. Gas pedal, cast by Andy Martin in Tulsa, Oklahoma for Dennis. More work to be done today by Dennis. Current temperatures are well below the Zero degree mark. Thankfully the workshop is heated.

Quick pic from Dennis. He fitted the gas pedal that Andy designed and cast for him.

Question from another forum. The basic chassis is a 2000 model NASCAR truck racing item. However, Dennis is fitting all newer and much upgraded parts, right up to date. Adam, his son built a model a few years ago as a Christmas gift, showing how the rear bed and wheel arches needed to be cut and moved forward, as the chassis is actually even shorter than a short Fleetside The whole chassis is low, very low so loads of adaptations are done. This is actually a real hot rod he is building with tons of custom fabrication .

Just leaving this here... don't you have one of these somewhere Grizz? Auction lot hereMorning mate Ugleeeee truck that. Looks like left over paint from a village hardware store. Needs graphics to create an 80’s vibe and create an identity. In the mean time, you are right. Saw this recently when I started moving stuff about. Even my 1200GS has been SORN for three years. In the mean time this is happening Should give me a 6x5 meter undercover carport once done. Creating space to work.

While the carport build goes on, in order to give me allw4ather working space, other stuff happens. I fetched the Custom Chevy C10 cab lifter made about 6 years ago from mate Martins place, along with another tool. This has lived outdoors in all weathers, all the yea5s, so will need me to make some rot repairs as one end already fell off when I unloaded it. Makes lifting a four man lift Sized cab off the chassis on your own using the engine hoist a piece of cake. The cab roller frame, built by Martin is a brilliant tool, despite an old wooden pallet with wheels doing the same job. The cab floor is stepped, and that’s reflected in the design, then add in four mounting points to secure it, and you can roll the cab about while working on it. I will tidy it up and add some wheels before packing it away with the lifter for future use.
