So sorry to hear this but happy she clearly had a good life with staff who loved her (remember cats don't have owners they have staff..) Cats are very particular about who they spend time with and you clearly had a special bond which must make this very hard right now. Thinking of you Rian, look after yourself. James

Thoughts with you sir, she might not be distracting you in quite the same way and getting under your feet, but she'll certainly still be with you as you crack on with that C10.

Just raised a glass in her memory. Stay strong mate. Steve Except raising is the correct tense in this case. Very sorry to hear mate. She's been a big part of your stories.

Thanks so much for sharing. I am allergic to cats (and most fluffy hairy animals) but love them and I will make an effort to cuddle a cat when I can. There is something special about cats. Thank you for including Harley in your stories. They are always fun to read. All the very best mate!! As for the welding that is in front of you Oh curse word Rian, so sorry to read the news about Harley. Seen so many shots of her on here and Garage Journal over the years, always checking things out and keeping you on the straight and narrow. Just raised a glass in her memory. Stay strong mate. Steve sorry for your loss Grizz Sorry for your loss Rian... It's always hard to loose a loved companion and that companion being a pet doesn't take anything away from that. I still get sad when I think of the demise of the first two animal friends that I ever made. They came with my partner but they loved me from day one and vice versa. You have your heart very much in the right place and your tribute pictures are very fitting. Harley will not be forgotten! Take care! So sorry to hear this but happy she clearly had a good life with staff who loved her (remember cats don't have owners they have staff..) Steve Except raising is the correct tense in this case. Very sorry to hear mate. She's been a big part of your stories. Thank you all for your comments and PM’s She was certainly part of my life and made sure anyone who visited here was given the security check over and then welcomed as family. Some animals just fit in well. And she was part of the forum, often by her own insistence, to be in cars, the wood shop, garage etc. The house is certainly quiet without her being around me, talking, to me constantly, waking me at 5.30 for her breakfast etc. And it will be quiet going forward. But we get over this sort of thing. The memories and many moments of laughter she induced will stay. Interesting to see Photophukit has killed a bunch of recent photos again.
Not sure if anyone else has experienced that.Almost the weekend.

Our penultimate cat went the same way (tumor in the mouth) earlier this year, Rian - I feel the pain. Last one went last weekend (stroke) - not been a good year for cats here. They both made "old bones" as they say (14 or so) and certainly had a good life, even if it was always on their terms, not ours.
The Labs have stepped up in the "who rules who" stakes though..

Sorry to hear about Harley, at least she’s not suffering, which is something we can do for our pets.

Very sorry to read about Harley. As one who had been security cat inspected and then deemed suitable to be used as a cushion, I shall miss that unmistakable purr as well as her presence in all of your updates. Condolences my friend.

We lost a much loved cat to cancer last year and 3 weeks ago we had to put our beautiful 12yr old Chocolate Lab to sleep. Cancer again. Its a tough thing Grizz. But life is so much better with them in it.
Nice to see progress, progressing on the truck again.

Interestingly, I thought about the fact that Harley won’t be there to help on this phase.
