That is good news - and GT was the reason I went down the Playstation route initially (that and GTA!). However was I the only one who found GT5 a bit boring? I loved all the previous incarnations but I think the earlier games had more of a feeling of satisfaction - particularly when you managed to modify some obscure 80's Japanese hatchback into a sportscar-beater.

They have lost me now, I have been loyal since GT2 I bought both my PS2 and PS3 for the GT games but after dragging GT5 out aslong as they could and it really not being as good as Forza.
I still play GT3/4 as they are really good games but 5 just didn't cut it after waiting so long and being drawn to the dark side.
I very much doubt I will rush out and buy GT6 or a PS4 for that matter.

i liked GT5 up until they finally added seasonals, theres no sense of achievement making 800k on a race as easy as sunday cup. yes it makes it easier for everyone to get to the end game and have lots of nice cars to make it even easier to complete, but it still removes the sachievement

Let's go retro with some GT4 pics, shall we? Retro? I'm still on GT3 on my PS2!! However, I have been looking at consoles lately, and this new GT may just be the push for me to finally get a PS3

Eugh, mixed feelings about a new GT to be honest, while I've been a GT lover since the first one, GT5 was so lacklustre compared to Forza it just killed it for me a bit :/ that said, I wouldn't have been half as into cars as I am now without GT and I certainly wouldn't know about so many slightly obscure cars since GT includes pretty much everything rather than just focusing on super cars.. Though having about a billion versions of MX5, Evo and Skyline which were all pretty much exactly the same as each other did get a bit tedious Probably the ultimate car that sums up my GT memories thus far has to be the Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak, on GT1, 2 and 3 it was just about the fastest car you could get and was completely mental when fully tuned ;D

Great, I sold my PS3 earlier this year, and yes, I too only bought it originally for GT5 which I played too death! Only had to get gold on a couple of special events and I'd have got the Platinum trophy! Bigger Forza fan tbh and I hope that Forza 5 will get announced soon for a release this year as they do launch one every 2 years I hope they drop all that Premium/Standard car curse word, GT5 could have been amazing! Yes a 1000 cars but about 950 of them were flipping Skylines!

I havent played GT4 for a long time but those pics are making me want to play it again. Always playing GT2 though. love that game more than anything and the only game I know with the micra superturbo and starlet turbo s (me and mate always used to have 2 player battles between those 2)

The first two GT games (especially GT2) were awesome. For me, Forza is way ahead at the moment and I'd have thought GT6 would be next gen?

. Though having about a billion versions of MX5, Evo and Skyline which were all pretty much exactly the same as each other did get a bit tedious true that ! you get all the mind numbing variations, and then you go to used car dealer and spy another one without the tick next to it, and the only difference is that its a 1992 when you have a 1991 yawn !
