I always find it funny how people think chopping springs ruins your alignment, but other lowering means don't ;D
The guy probably has a hydraulic press and a blowtorch and came up with an idea to make some money. And we all know how safe and sound torched springs are...

Ahahahah..that has to be a joke! So a cut spring will curse word the geometry but a compressed one wont? This guy needs his tools taken away, seriously. As for the original question, you'll be better off cuttin the 3 turns in his picture than compress it that much and be left with prety much a wooden board on casters.

Even if the process was to normalize, compress to a shorter length, 're harden and then 're temper the spring, which it won't be, a lowered spring has to physically have less coils. Once the coils themselves start to touch you may as well use bricks.

I tried to message him to ask him if the springs are heated in anyway, and if progressive rate springs remain progressive rate.Alas, his messages have been deactivated "due to the high number of emails this seller receives".Its a pile of curse word guys and i hope nobody tries them, they probably throw them in a forge 'till red hot, then squish them to whatever height you want.Better cutting your springs if you want slammed look for "peanuts"lol,id rather the last coil snap while I'm driving than one in the middle of a spring...

I dunno if he deserves as much hate as he's getting to be fair, he's only being about as economical with the truth as most adverts, really.
A compressed spring will be the same spring rate as stock, whereas a cut spring will have a increased rate proportionate to the amount you lop off. The ideal level is usually somewhere inbetween, but it all depends on damper travel and what you're doing with the vehicle.
