Ah, Mark and Lard. Fantastic.
With Clarkson and his powersliding stuff - it almost seems like he is bored of it now as well. And I'm fed up of hearing him use the same lines again and again. I'm sure he used that line about "air being cleaner after it has passed through the car" many, many years ago.

not seen it yet-taped it and will be watching in bed for a bit-I'm hoping its as entertaining as ever... as for the dj comment i listen to the radio all day in the truck. i listen to jk & joel, moyles and mills on radio1-i certainly don't listen for the music-hiphop dance and chav music annoys me! the rest of the djs bore me jo whiley has the sexiest voice in the world but she winds me up with her underground indie music choices and edith bowman shouts too much! i have kerrang 105.2 (www.kerrangradio.co.uk) on when I'm local and cd's the rest of the time. its the only way i get my fix of rock!

I then wanted to start cleaning the interior as it stinks of wood (the material not the smell of a boner) best quote ever!

You guys /\ need 6music! I do believe it is true that in badly polluted places there are some elements of exhaust emmisons that are cleaner than the air the engine takes in. The best bit of that Reliant feature was the fantastic reaction of the rocket guys who had worked long and hard on it I expect) when it took of. Fantastic! The Merc? It made me realise even more that I don't want a computer controlled car! Whether you like the presenters or not, Top Gear is visually awesome! All credit to the camera and production crew.

Agreed Clarkson's getting a bit off now. You cant continue to better yourself all the time, and they've been doing it for a long time. Getting a bit off? If I hear him talk for more than 18.43 seconds I am overcome with an urge to place my hands to his throat and strangle the very last breath of life out of that smug shittalking fuktard knobjockey. He is one of the few people who makes me swear at the telly. I like James May though. I occasionally read his oclumn in which ever paper it is my friend gets and occasionally leaves somewhere I read it. I suspect May could be one of us... Except he owns a new Panda. And Radio 1 is the very reason iPods were invented...

Awesome, I listen to BBC6music a fair bit at home.......unfortunately the budget for my truck didn't extend to a DAB radio ....in fact I still have to do C90 compilations for it so I can still get my daily dose of Beach Boys,Eat, Reverend Horton Heat, Nick Drake, Screaming Trees, Frank Zappa, Barrett-era Pink Floyd and Swervedriver (I know, I'm a musical weirdo) ;D

Seth said "Whether you like the presenters or not, Top Gear is visually awesome! All credit to the camera and production crew. " and I can't be bothered to do a quote properly... But I agree totally. The camera work is always superb and beautifully edited.

Hello?? discussing which radio 1 DJs you like... please stop..
TG has become a boring "stunt" based show.. like Jackass, but with more money and more blazer and jeans combos. Frankly that format has got old now.. needs another shake up...

That's the sign he held up when he showed "the support website" for road tax I have to disagree about the camera now and then - I think they've gone too far with their own style as most of the time you rarely get a look at the car, or it's so 'stylised' and corner faded that you can't see it ...and the 'motion' they put into it now and then.....bugs me sometimes!

The thing is it doesn;t matter how good the camera work is or how well planned the stunts are if you can't watch the show because the presenters make you want to go commit raging homicide LOL

Frankly that format has got old now.. needs another shake up... aah but it is still an INVENTIVE stunt based show and while the viewing figures stack up I doubt they'll want to change much. The show has some of the best brains at the BBC behind it. Who would have thought after it was axed the last time and VBH and Tiff defected to reverse gear that it would be back in this format. Presenters come and go as do formats and content. Remember when nobody thought you'd be able to top the trio of Clarkson, Tiff and Wilson?

I still like the show, maybe for the lack of car shows on free to air TV here in Australia and the fact that we're about a year behind you gys in the shows we get. Just watched the last of a series with Clarkson in an NSX at Laguna Seca. Does he go off, or do you's already consider him passed by this show? I wanna see him cope at our Bathurst track if he thinks Laguna Seca is crazy.

Sorry dudes create a little monster there! soz! way i'd describe it is alike the radio, TG is entertainment, general entertainment, not really factual i'd say and thats why its so popular to the masses. but equally some people are bored of it or are annoyed by it. its ok, I can tolerate it and often enjoy it, Clarkson doesnt really mean harm he's just annoying at times, May has an interest so i'll let him off, and hammond rules, just a pity its so scripted so clarkson is always teh clever one with his two side kicks , and agree the production is ace, even if you cant always see the cars. look forward to teh ree peat tues bbc2 7pm

if those of you hate clarkson so much why do you watch top gear? and HOW many years has he done top gear? So you've watched it ALL this time, disliking him, but STILL watching!? If they are getting an audience from people who displike the presenter they must be doing something right! lol
I love top gear. I can see why it might need a freshen up, and yes many lines have been used once too often. But, on a day thats full of soap omnibuses its great to see something auto focused - plus slow motion wheelspins still rock my world! ;D and at the end of the day my life is about making me smile - if something makes me smile then i like it - and top gear makes me smile. actually, it often makes me split my sides.

Have to say I don't hate Clarkson,.. or in fact any of the presenters of TG... I think the format has become played out ,.. they realised that with all the "races",.. so now they are going on to greater lengths to top themselves... (nearly literally)..

Well said HotWire. I might not have been watching it as long as any of you guys (purely because its not on TV here) but really I can't see why yous all seem to hate it so much. The last three weeks in the TV guide it has been in with the shows of the week, being named the best show on Australian TV etc. and as it getting well over 750,000 viewers every week which is very good for here's standards let alone the top rater for the channel its on. Hmm if I am not mistaken they must be doing something right.
