I really really can;t stand it. I watched last weeks, or rather I tried to. Surely a programme about three blokes buying cheap cars and driving around the US in them should be entertaining? I got about 15 minutes into it before I had to turn it off. I just cannot abide Clarkson or Hammond. Can I be the only one?

Balls i missed it! I watched the remaining 15 mins of last week and now know what the garage scene was. Put on or not, that was just stupid, idiotic, dangerous, ignorent, and asking for trouble! not good. i do watch and enjoy the majority of it unlike some radio 1 DJ's who make me swear on impact! did i miss owt good tonight? was looking forward to the rocket robin!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

To be honest, I was feeling a little lonely as there were some aspects of last weeks show that really bored me. I did like the in-car shower though. This week, Simon Pegg was good (but then I'm a fan) despite the plugging (not so bad when it isn't Hugh Grant). The Reliant Orbiter was nice and daft. The over-powered Merc was er, overpowered. Then Clarkson got all environmental and decided that 4x4s are not cool. I think he's right. 8x8 is where it is at!!

OH MY GOD !! How impressive was that !! ;D Even though it crashed and burned, that Reliant Rocket was AWSOME Welldone to the Top Gear team and to the actual rocket guys. I wonder how long before it is on the YouTube ? I think they should of taken off the wing mirrors though. Would have made all the difference

Pure entertainment for me.
No brainpower needed.
Some of the Very little telly I do watch, makes me chuckle.

Good show.
Agreed Clarkson's getting a bit off now. You cant continue to better yourself all the time, and they've been doing it for a long time. Oh well.
P.s. Radio 1's lot are Rubbish. Except Moyles, he makes me laugh.

Radio 1 is rubbish. No exceptions! Not even super-ego Moyles.
Makes me feel old but Radio 2 is where it is at! Apart from on Sundays. Rubbish today. Today being the day of Top Gear (see? neatly back on topic!)
TG is starting to feel stale. I'm starting to feel like I won't mind if I miss an episode whereas previously, I'd do 70mph through a school if it meant I got home on time (that isn't entirely true...)
So, it remains to be seen. I've seen Clarkson live and he said that TG would go out with a BANG when the time is right and the show started to get stale. He said that a few months before Hammond almost did go out with a bang...

Yes - plus every car review he does is essentially the same now. He seems to have run out of material.
And every bloody time he does one "rave rave rave", then stereotypical "wouldn't have one" afterwards when prompted.....which is just dull now.

It's gone from being unmissable viewing to being rather irrelevant (but still, at times, excruciatingly funny). I'm not sure if that's because it's changed, or wether I have.
Can draw a smililar analogy with Radio 1, I'm sure it hasn't changed all that much, it's just that as I've got older it's just become increasingly annoying, to the point where I don't bother anymore, and reach for the button marked 'Wogan' in the mornings.
However, that's where the analogy ends. If they bought back Woolard, Goffey and Janet Ellis to TG I'd not bother watching.
But if they reincarnated Tommy Vance, and got Mark and Lard to do the Breakfast show on Radio One.....FTW!!
I think I'll dig out me Shirehorses CD. ;D
