At this point, I'll now update the thread on the 309! It went in on 3rd of August to my mechanic with the 205 doner 2 months later, she was done. Now running with the standard 1.8 DT XUD engine and manual box, only real giveaway (other than the noise!) is the glow plug light fitted, and the gearstick! "Automatic" badge still proudly remains on the boot! She's still my daily and done 4K in her faultlessly! Been through central London, top of Wales (including the evo triangle) absolutely loving the old girl even more!

Also here is a photo of the difference of what she looked like when I brought her to now, I know not all cars look good lowered, but I think it's a vast improvement!

After selling the 420, there was a strong possibility that due to personal circumstances that I'd need an estate, ended up buying this 115k 405 Dubro estate... The guy I brought it from was like a 50 year old version of me, and already had 2 other 405s and a long history of Peugeots! Could have spoken to him all day! I'll let the photos do the talking here. Currently off the road as currently I don't need it, but can't bare to part with it as will need it shortly, and finding a half decent one isn't always easy when you need one!

It also came with the original alloys (including mega rare centre caps) and roof bars!

After a few enquirers it turned out it was in Dorset about 20 minutes from my mums house... After a call to the scrapyard, I agreed (blindly) to buy it and have it delivered one evening that week. Thankfully they still had the v5. As my mum lives 80 miles away I couldn't be there to see it being delivered, and I received this photos...

Safe to say, I was excited to see it, so I went down that weekend. Thankfully I found that although it was in rank condition. Outside clearly hadn't been washed and the interior was soaking wet and mouldy, it was completely solid in all the usual common rust areas... Only rust is some rust scabs on front panel, drivers door and few on the roof. Starts and drives lovely, and has a fetching brown interior!

After a quick wash, it really came up 10x's better! Haven't done anything since other than out a dehumidifier in it for a week to dry it all out... Long term plan is to polish clean it all up proper, and then put in for an mot to see what's what!
